Marine diterpene glycosides (MDGs) respresent a small but highly significant group of the much larger class of marine diterpenes. The three well-studied examples of MDGs are eleutherobins, pseudopterosins and fuscosides, all of which exhibit extremely promising biological activity.

Diterpene glycosides from Iphiona aucheri
Phytochemistry, 1994Iphiona aucheri is responsible for poisoning racing camels (Camelus dromedarius) in the United Arab Emirates U. A. E. Terpenoids, a non-toxic pyrrolizidine alkaloid and two diterpene glycosides, atractyloside and carboxyatractyloside, were isolated and their structures determined by spectroscopic methods.

Diterpene glycosides from Gutierrezia sphaerocephala
Phytochemistry, 1986Abstract Five new diterpene glycosides, two arabinopyranosides and three xylopyranosides were isolated from Gutierrezia sphaerocephala . One of the arabinosides contained a tiglate ester at the 3′-position of the sugar moiety.

Hypoxylonoids A−G: Isopimarane diterpene glycosides from Xylaria hypoxylon
Phytochemistry, 2021Seven undescribed isopimarane diterpene glycosides hypoxylonoids A-G, along with five known analogues were obtained from the fungus Xylaria hypoxylon. The structures and absolute configurations of hypoxylonoids A-G were confirmed by extensive spectroscopic and single-crystal X-ray diffraction analyses. Among these compounds, the γ-lactone moiety formed

Diterpene and diterpene glycosides from Rabdosia eriocalyx
Phytochemistry, 1989Abstract An ent -kaurene diterpenoid, maoecrystal K, and its β-glucopyranoside, rabdoside 1, as well as a minor diterpene glycoside, rabdoside 2 were isolated from Rabdosia eriocalyx . The structures of the three compounds were determined by their spectral properties and chemical transformations.

Synthesis of diterpene glycosides
Monatshefte fr Chemie Chemical Monthly, 1997Mono-, di-, and linear triglycosides of a diterpene alcohol, derived from abietic acid and glucose have been synthesized employing peracetylbromo-α-D-glucose (4) and maltose derivatives5 and8 as glycosyl donors. The triglycoside14 exhibits slight haemolytic activity.

Diterpene Glycosides fromEgletes viscosa
Planta Medica, 2005A phytochemical investigation of the CHCl (3)-soluble extract of the entire plant of Egletes viscosa (Asteraceae), collected in Peru, afforded two new labdane glycosides, 13-hydroxy-7-oxolabda-8,14-diene 13( R)- O-alpha- L-arabinopyranoside and 13-hydroxylabda-7,14-diene 13( R)- O-alpha- L-arabinopyranoside, along with four known compounds.
