Sex chromosome associated satellite DNA: evolution and conservation
, 1980 Satellites visible in female but not in male DNA were isolated from the snakes Elaphe radiata (satellite IV, p=1.708 g×cm−3) and Bungarus fasciatus (BK1 minor, p=1.709 g×cm−3). The satellites cross hybridize.

Chiral‐Encoded Pt‐Ir Surfaces as Apparent Spin Filter for Enhanced Oxygen Reduction
Advanced Science, EarlyView.The Chiral‐Induced Spin Selectivity (CISS) effect is employed in chiral‐encoded mesoporous Platinum‐Iridium (Pt‐Ir) electrocatalysts to enhance the oxygen reduction reaction (ORR). A break in spin symmetry leads to a substantial antagonistic difference in activity (>200%) when comparing two enantiomorphs of the same electrode.
