PET Imaging of Cardiac Inflammation in Viral Myocarditis Using a DPP4‐Targeted Probe

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study describes a DPP4‐targeted PET probe for imaging myocardial inflammation by selectively targeting activated immune cells. Derived from the clinically approved small‐molecule inhibitor linagliptin, the probe demonstrates favorable biodistribution with specific cardiac uptake in myocarditis.

Marine Longilenes, Oxasqualenoids with Ser-Thr Protein Phosphatase 2A Inhibition Activity

open access: yesMarine Drugs, 2018
The red seaweed Laurencia viridis is a rich source of oxygenated secondary metabolites that were derived from squalene. We report here the structures of three novel compounds, (+)-longilene peroxide (1), longilene (2), and (+)-prelongilene (3) that were ...

Orbiter based construction equipment [PDF]

open access: yes, 1982
Many orbiter based activities need equipment to hold a payload steady while it is being worked on. This work may be construction, updating, repair, services, check out, or refueling operations in preparation for return to Earth.

The AUTACE That Degrades KRAS and Engages CD8+ T Cells for the Treatment of KRAS/TP53 Co‐Mutant Tumors

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
AUTACE is a bifunctional nanoplatform that integrates tumor targeting, immune engagement, and on‐demand KRAS degradation. It targets KRAS/TP53 co‐mutant tumors via TP53‐specific TCRs, elicits antitumor CD8+ T‐cell responses through surface anti‐CD3 antibodies, and uses low‐intensity focused ultrasound (LIFU) to trigger controlled release of the KRAS ...

Into the interference between Beet curly top Iran virus and Beet curly top virus: in silico evaluation of the role of the interaction between Rep and the nonanucleotide motif

open access: yesJournal of Crop Protection, 2022
Beet curly top Iran virus (BCTIV) and Beet curly top virus (BCTV) are responsible for the curly top disease in sugar beet Beta vulgaris L. and many other plants. Mixed infection by BCTIV and BCTV in sugar beet plants results in a synergistic interaction,

Sex‐Specific Regulation of Glycemic Homeostasis by Theabrownin from Pu‐erh Tea

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Pu‐erh tea's key component, theabrownin (TB), lowers blood glucose in a sex‐specific manner. In females, estrogen boosts intestinal MUC2 production, which dramatically enhances TB's ability to inhibit the carbohydrate‐digesting enzyme α‐glucosidase.

NUP85 Mediates Endoplasmic Reticulum Stress through the USP47/ASK1 Signaling Pathway to Regulate the Progression of Liver Fibrosis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In the present study, we have demonstrated that the NUP85‐USP47‐ASK1 signaling pathway may have regulated the progression of liver fibrosis through modulating ERS. Additionally, we have developed a CREKA‐coupled liposome to target delivery of MV, a pharmacological inhibitor of NUP85, to activated HSCs, thereby attenuating liver fibrosis. ABSTRACT Liver

A Microbial Lipid‐ATP Synthase Axis Fuels NK Cell Antitumor Activity

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study focuses on the mechanism by which gut microbiota‐derived outer membrane vesicles (OMVs) regulate NK cell antitumor activity. B. intestinalis is identified to decrease extra‐intestinal tumor growth via its OMVs enriched in sphingosine (SP).

Anti-Inflammatory Activity and ROS Regulation Effect of Sinapaldehyde in LPS-Stimulated RAW 264.7 Macrophages

open access: yesMolecules, 2020
We evaluated the anti-inflammatory effects of SNAH in lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-stimulated RAW 264.7 macrophages by performing nitric oxide (NO) assays, cytokine enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays, Western blotting, and real-time reverse transcription ...
