Generalizing the concept of convergency to valued fields, Ostrowski in the 1930s introduced pseudo-convergent sequences. In the present paper we classify pseudo-convergent sequences in right chain domains R according to the prime ideal P associated to the breadth I of the sequence using an ideal theory developed for right cones in groups. The ring R is

Effect of ``a'' Domains on the Movement of ``c'' Domain Walls in BaTiO3
Journal of Applied Physics, 1967It has been found that the activation field for 180° domain wall motion in a BaTiO3 crystal is increased when the wall intersects an ``a'' domain for the case where the wall is parallel to the edge of the ``a'' domain. It is shown that this increase is only an apparent increase due to a reduction of the mean field E2 acting on the wall in the ``a ...

Evolution of Integrin I Domains
2014In humans, an ~200-residue "inserted" I domain, a von Willebrand factor A domain (vWFA), buds out from the β-propeller domain in 9 of 18 integrin α subunits. The vWFA domain is not unique to the α subunit as it is an integral part of all integrin β subunits and many other proteins.

In this paper, we will investigate a question of Anderson–Zafrullah of whether an LPI domain (every nonzero locally principal ideal is invertible) has finite prime character and characterize pullbacks that are LPI domains.

We study, under the name t-Schreier, the class of those integral domains whose group of t-invertible t-ideals satisfies the Riesz interpolation property. The so-called Prufer v-multiplication domains (PVMDs) and Prufer domains are special cases of t-Schreier domains.

Integral Domains Whose w-Integral Closures Are Krull Domains
Algebra Colloquium, 2020Let D be an integral domain with quotient field K, [Formula: see text] be the integral closure of D in K, and D[w] be the w-integral closure of D in K; so [Formula: see text], and equality holds when D is Noetherian or dim(D) = 1. The Mori–Nagata theorem states that if D is Noetherian, then [Formula: see text] is a Krull domain; it has also been ...

Isolation and characterization of domain I of ovoinhibitor
Biochimica et Biophysica Acta (BBA) - Protein Structure and Molecular Enzymology, 1996Domain I of ovoinhibitor was isolated by subjecting the protein to specific chemical cleavage by cyanogen bromide followed by repeated gel filtration. The first domain of ovoinhibitor was found to be homogeneous by the criteria of gel chromatography, SDS-PAGE and PAGE.
