Effects of pH on Double Stranded RNA Stability in European Corn Borer Nucleases [PDF]
RNA interference (RNAI) is an immune response that can be exploited to make greener pesticides. It works by inciting suppression of a specific target gene using fed or injected dsRNA.

We report a versatile nanoclay gel carrier platform that enhances the osteogenic efficacy of demineralized bone matrix (DBM) by integrating nanoclay‐based self‐assembly with cell‐derived exosome mimetics loaded with noggin‐targeting miR‐200c. This design amplifies BMP signaling, thereby promoting DBM‐mediated osteogenesis and offering a promising ...

Chamber‐specific decellularized extracellular matrices (ECMs) were developed, preserving native proteomic profiles of ventricular and atrial myocardium. These innate biochemical cues differentially modulate cardiomyocyte subtypes to drive engineered heart tissue development and function, highlighting the importance of incorporating regional ECM cues in

Viruses with Double-stranded RNA Genomes
During the past decade 16 viruses which possess double-stranded ribonucleic acid (ds-RNA) genomes have been found in vertebrate, invertebrate, bacterial, higher plant and fungal hosts. Although once considered a small unique class of viruses, it is now apparent that ds-RNA viruses may be of common occurrence especially among the mycoviruses (viruses of

Aptamer‐Based Delivery Systems for VEGF and NGF Modulation in Ocular Therapies
Aptamer‐based delivery systems targeting NGF and VEGF hold significant potential for precise and sustained treatment of complex diseases affecting both the anterior and posterior segments of the eye. This review critically summarizes current strategies for NGF and VEGF delivery as well as VEGF sequestration, providing a clinical perspective on how ...

By fusing ACE2‐overexpressing membrane‐integrated liposome (MIL) with copper nanoparticles, the biomimetic Cu@MIL nanostructures were created that directly hijack the SARS‐CoV‐2 entry pathway. These particles combine potent virus‐targeting precision with intrinsic antiviral activity, achieving rapid neutralization and disinfection.

This study presents the first entirely isogenic heart‐on‐chip, unifying cardiomyocytes, fibroblasts, and endothelial cells from a single iPSC source. The platform reveals a critical biological insight: the endothelium actively shields cardiac tissue from drug‐induced toxicity, challenging the predictive accuracy of conventional, avascular models for ...

Targeted dsRNA-mediated suppression of Phytophthora infestans infection via Avr3a
Phytophthora infestans (P. infestans) is a highly destructive oomycete that causes the late blight in Solanaceous crops, such as potatoes and tomatoes, reducing crop yield. Although many pesticides are used to control P.
