Electrically detected paramagnetic resonance in Ag-paint coated DPPH [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2021
We describe a simple experimental method to detect electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) in polycrystalline 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) sample, the standard g-marker for EPR spectroscopy, without using a cavity resonator or a prefabricated waveguide.

Spatial characterization of the magnetic field profile of a probe tip used in magnetic resonance force microscopy [PDF]

open access: yesAppl. Phys. Lett., 92, 214104 (2008), 2008
We have developed the experimental approach to characterize spatial distribution of the magnetic field produced by cantilever tips used in magnetic resonance force microscopy (MRFM). We performed MRFM measurements on a well characterized diphenyl-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) film and mapped the 3D field profile produced by a Nd2Fe14B probe tip.

Cryogenic frequency-domain electron spin resonance spectrometer based on coplanar waveguides and field modulation [PDF]

open access: yesReview of Scientific Instruments 91, 025106 (2020), 2020
We present an instrument to perform frequency-domain electron spin resonance (ESR) experiments that is based on coplanar waveguides and field modulation. A large parameter space in frequency (up to 25 GHz), magnetic field (up to 8 T), and temperature (down to 1.6 K) is accessible.

S-band electron spin resonance spectroscopy using a short-circuited coplanar waveguide resonator [PDF]

open access: yesIOPSciNotes 1 035202 (2020), 2020
In this work, we study the development of a coplanar waveguide (CPW) resonator and its use in an electron spin resonance (ESR) spectrometer. The CPW resonator is designed to operate in S-band. It has a short circuit configuration which leads to miniaturization. It is so constructed such that it has a characteristic impedance of 50 ohms.
