Signal Flow Graph Approach to Efficient DST I-IV Algorithms [PDF]
In this paper, fast and efficient discrete sine transformation (DST) algorithms are presented based on the factorization of sparse, scaled orthogonal, rotation, rotation-reflection, and butterfly matrices.

The response of the magnetosphere to the passage of a coronal mass ejection on March 20-21 1990 [PDF]
International audienceThe geomagnetic response to the passage of a coronal mass ejection (CME) is studied. The passage of the CME resulted in a storm sudden commencement (SSC) at 2243 UT on March 20 1990 with disturbed magnetic activity during the ...

We measure the cell‐specific responses of administering infusible ECM (iECM) in acute myocardial infarction (MI) across multiple timepoints. Using single‐nucleus RNA sequencing and spatial transcriptomics, we measure macrophage activation, fibroblast remodeling, increased vascular development, lymphangiogenesis, cardioprotection, and neurogenesis ...

Isoniazid-resistant TB and associated factors in Ethiopia
BACKGROUND: Isoniazid-resistant, rifampicin-susceptible Mycobacterium tuberculosis (Hr-TB) is the most common form of drug-resistant TB (DR-TB). We investigated the prevalence of and risk factors for Hr-TB in Ethiopia.

Physical Origin of Temperature Induced Activation Energy Switching in Electrically Conductive Cement
The temperature‐induced Arrhenius activation energy switching phenomenon of electrical conduction in electrically conductive cement originates from structural degradation within the biphasic ionic‐electronic conduction architecture and shows percolation‐governed characteristics: pore network opening dominates the low‐percolation regime with downward ...

State estimation: direct state measurement vs. tomography
We compare direct state measurement (DST or weak state tomography) to conventional state reconstruction (tomography) through accurate Monte-Carlo simulations. We show that DST is surprisingly robust to its inherent bias.
