The M2/M5 BPS Partition Functions from Supergravity
In the framework of the AdS/CFT duality, we calculate the supersymmetric partition function of the superconformal field theories living in the world volume of either $N$ $M2$-branes or $N$ $M5$-branes.

ProtoDUNE and a Dual-Phase LArTPC [PDF]
The four 10 kt Liquid Argon Time Projection Chambers (LArTPCs) of the future DUNE experiment will enable precise measurements of the oscillation parameters and the discovery of CP violation for leptons, thanks to their excellent 3D imaging capabilities and calorimetric capabilities. One or more modules of the DUNE detector may exploit a Dual Phase (DP)

Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.

Light detection in DUNE Dual Phase [PDF]
DUNE will be an underground neutrino oscillation experiment that will perform precision measurements of the PMNS mixing parameters, determine unambiguously the mass ordering and discover leptonic CP violation. It also comprises a rich non-accelerator physics program as the detection of supernova neutrinos, nucleon decay and BSM physics.

This study reveals a unique active site enriched in methionine residues and demonstrates that these residues play a critical role by stabilizing carbocation intermediates through novel sulfur–cation interactions. Structure‐guided mutagenesis further revealed variants with significantly altered product profiles, enhancing pseudopterosin formation. These

Generalised dual‐filter disturbance observer for nonminimum‐phase systems
To reject the disturbances of the nonminimum‐phase systems, the generalised dual‐filter disturbance observer is proposed. The conventional disturbance observer methods inevitably lead to nonminimum‐phase systems' instability. To stabilise the system, the

Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

Topological transition between competing orders in quantum spin chains
We study quantum phase transitions between competing orders in one-dimensional spin systems. We focus on systems that can be mapped to a dual-field double sine-Gordon model as a bosonized effective field theory.

Holographic phase diagram of quark-gluon plasma formed in heavy-ions collisions [PDF]
The phase diagram of quark gluon plasma (QGP) formed at a very early stage just after the heavy ion collision is obtained by using a holographic dual model for the heavy ion collision.
