We analyze cisplatin–DNA adducts (CDAs) and double‐strand breaks (DSBs) in a cell‐cycle‐dependent manner. We find that CDAs form similarly across all cell cycle phases. DSBs arise only in S‐phase. CDAs might not directly impair DSB repair, but S‐phase DSB lesions evolve in the presence of CDAs and disrupt repair in G2, also causing radiosensitization ...

Dual polar spaces of arbitrary rank
In 1982 P. Cameron gave a characterisation of dual polar spaces of finite rank viewed as point-line spaces. This characterisation makes essential use of the fact that dual polar spaces of finite rank have finite diameter.

A characterization of nonhomogeneous wavelet bi-frames for reducing subspaces of Sobolev spaces
For nonhomogeneous wavelet bi-frames in a pair of dual spaces ( H s ( R d ) , H − s ( R d ) ) $(H^{s}(\mathbb{R}^{d}), H^{-s}(\mathbb{R}^{d}))$ with s ≠ 0 $s\neq 0$ , smoothness and vanishing moment requirements are separated from each other, that is ...

Hijacking emergency granulopoiesis: Neutrophil ontogeny and reprogramming in cancer
Neutrophils are highly plastic innate immune cells; their functions in cancer extend beyond the tumour microenvironment. This Review summarises current understanding of neutrophil maturation and heterogeneity and highlights tumour‐induced granulopoiesis as a systemic programme that expands immature, immunosuppressive neutrophils via tumour‐derived ...

A Mazur space is a locally convex topological vector space X such that every fϵXs is continuous where Xs is the set of sequentially continuous linear functionals on X; Xs is studied when X is of the form C(H), H a topological space, and when X is the ...

Here, we demonstrate that HS1BP3 interacts with Cortactin through a proline‐rich region (PRR3.1) and show that this interaction, and HS1BP3 itself, promote cancer cell proliferation and invasion. Inhibition of this interaction leads to build‐up of TKS5 in multivesicular endosomes and altered secretion of CD63 and CD9, providing an explanation for the ...

Operator ranges in Banach spaces with weak star separable dual
2023 Acuerdos transformativos CRUEWe provide several extensions for Banach spaces with weak⁎-separable dual of a theorem of Schevchik ensuring that for every proper dense operator range R in a separable Banach space E, there exists a one-to-one and dense-

Nonstational Dual Wavelet Frames in Sobolev Spaces
In view of the good properties of nonstationary wavelet frames and the better flexibility of wavelets in Sobolev spaces, the nonstationary dual wavelet frames in a pair of dual Sobolev spaces are studied in this paper.

Noncommutative Phase Spaces by Coadjoint Orbits Method
We introduce noncommutative phase spaces by minimal couplings (usual one, dual one and their mixing). We then realize some of them as coadjoint orbits of the anisotropic Newton-Hooke groups in two- and three-dimensional spaces.
