Robust Optimality and Duality for Nonsmooth Multiobjective Programming Problems with Vanishing Constraints Under Data Uncertainty

open access: yesAlgorithms
This article investigates robust optimality conditions and duality results for a class of nonsmooth multiobjective programming problems with vanishing constraints under data uncertainty (UNMPVC).

Nested T-Duality [PDF]

open access: yesLetters in Mathematical Physics, 2006
We identify the obstructions for T-dualizing the boundary WZW model and make explicit how they depend on the geometry of branes. In particular, the obstructions disappear for certain brane configurations associated to non-regular elements of the Cartan torus.

Dual targeting of RET and SRC synergizes in RET fusion‐positive cancer cells

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Despite the strong activity of selective RET tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs), resistance of RET fusion‐positive (RET+) lung cancer and thyroid cancer frequently occurs and is mainly driven by RET‐independent bypass mechanisms. Son et al. show that SRC TKIs significantly inhibit PAK and AKT survival signaling and enhance the efficacy of RET TKIs in ...

Bispinor Auxiliary Fields in Duality-Invariant Electrodynamics Revisited

open access: yes, 2013
Motivated by a recent progress in studying the duality-symmetric models of nonlinear electrodynamics, we revert to the auxiliary tensorial (bispinor) field formulation of the O(2) duality proposed by us in arXiv:hep-th/0110074, arXiv:hep-th/0303192.

Complete Duality for Martingale Optimal Transport on the Line [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
We study the optimal transport between two probability measures on the real line, where the transport plans are laws of one-step martingales. A quasi-sure formulation of the dual problem is introduced and shown to yield a complete duality theory for ...

Vector–Tensor Duality [PDF]

open access: yesModern Physics Letters A, 1997
A dynamical non-Abelian two-form potential gives masses to vector bosons via a topological coupling.1 Unlike in the Abelian case, the two-form cannot be dualized to Goldstone bosons. Duality is restored by coupling a flat connection to the theory in a particular way, and the new action is then dualized to a nonlinear sigma model.

Methylation biomarkers can distinguish pleural mesothelioma from healthy pleura and other pleural pathologies

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We developed and validated a DNA methylation–based biomarker panel to distinguish pleural mesothelioma from other pleural conditions. Using the IMPRESS technology, we translated this panel into a clinically applicable assay. The resulting two classifier models demonstrated excellent performance, achieving high AUC values and strong diagnostic accuracy.

On S-duality for holographic p-wave superconductors

open access: yes, 2017
We consider the generalization of the S-duality transformation previously investigated in the context of the FQHE and s-wave superconductivity to p-wave superconductivity in 2+1 dimensions in the framework of the AdS/CFT correspondence. The vector Cooper

Roasting Pits as Social Space: The Organisation of Outdoor Activities on an Early Mesolithic Settlement Site in Northern Sweden

open access: yesCurrent Swedish Archaeology, 2008
The interior of northern Sweden was thc last area in Europe to become icefree and pioneer settlers arrived soon aftcr deglaciation. Early Mesolithic settlement sites in the Arjeplog area, Sweden, provide evidence of rapid colonization.

Duality modules and Morita duality

open access: yesJournal of Algebra, 1989
Let \({}_RU_S\) be endowed with a Hausdorff topology such that the elements of \(S\) induce continuous \(R\)-homomorphisms, \(R\text{-Top}\) be the category of Hausdorff topological left \(R\)-modules. \(U\)-duality between full subcategories \(\mathcal C\subseteq R\)-Top and \(\mathcal D\subseteq \text{Mod-}S\) is defined by functors \(\text{Cont}_R(-,
