Metal‐covalent organic frameworks (MCOFs) are novel porous materials that exhibit the advantages of covalent and metal‐organic frameworks. However, it is extremely difficult to resolve their atomic structure and better understand their structure‐properties relation. This work utilizes a synergistic combination of advanced microscopy, spectroscopic, and

Surface reconstruction, premelting, and collapse of open-cell nanoporous Cu via thermal annealing
We systematic investigate the collapse of a set of open-cell nanoporous Cu (np-Cu) with the same porosity and shapes, but different specific surface area, during thermal annealing, via performing large-scale molecular dynamics simulations.

Review of Thin Lithium Metal Battery Anode Fabrication – Microstructure – Electrochemistry Relations
Thin, lightweight lithium‐metal anodes are pivotal for practical high‐energy batteries. This review surveys processing routes that convert diverse Li precursors, e.g., ingots, melts, solutions, and vapor, into Li‐rich foils with controlled thickness, areal density, and tailored functionality.

Finite Element Modeling of Microstructural Changes in Turning of AA7075-T651 Alloy and Validation [PDF]
The surface characteristics of a machined product strongly influence its functional performance. During machining, the grain size of the surface is frequently modified, thus the properties of the machined surface are different to that of the original ...
