Microstructural and textural investigation of an Mg–Dy alloy after hot plane strain compression
The microstructure and texture development in a Mg–0.41Dy (wt%) alloy after plane strain compression (PSC) at 300 °C under a strain rate of 10−2 and 10−4 s−1 up a final true strain of −1.2 were investigated using electron backscatter diffraction (EBSD ...

Two‐Way Shape Memory Polymer Composite Gripper for Adaptive Robotic Applications
A two‐way shape memory polymer (SMP) composite is developed with intrinsic shape‐changing capability driven solely by temperature, eliminating external actuation loads. Embedding the SMP in a low‐stiffness elastomeric matrix enabled reversible transformations during heating and cooling cycles.

Turning Water Into a Tool: From Degradation Pathways to Functional Engineering in Halide Perovskites
Water exhibits a threshold‐dependent dual role in lead halide perovskites, acting either as a degradation trigger or as a powerful tool for defect passivation, recrystallization, and structural engineering. This review discusses how controlled water‐mediated interactions govern stability, dimensionality, and optoelectronic performance, providing ...

The hot deformation behavior of a 304 austenitic stainless steel was investigated to characterize the evolution of the dynamically recrystallized structure as a starting point for studies of the postdeformation recrystallization behavior. The effect of different deformation parameters such as strain, strain rate, and temperature were investigated.
