Dynamic Cooperative Spectrum Sharing in Elastic Networks
Optical Fiber Communication Conference/National Fiber Optic Engineers Conference 2013, 2013Spectrum expansion, contraction, and re-allocation policies are proposed for flexible networks. Reductions in blocking probability can be achieved by introducing “neighbor avoidance” mechanisms. Trade-offs between blocking probability and the number of re-allocated connections are quantified.

Blockchain-Based Privacy-Preserving Dynamic Spectrum Sharing
2020For improving the utilization and alleviating the shortage of spectrum resources, centralized database-based dynamic spectrum sharing system has been proposed. However, the centralized architecture is often considered to be nontransparent and more vulnerable to be attacked.

Cooperative and distributed spectrum sharing in dynamic spectrum pooling networks
The 19th Annual Wireless and Optical Communications Conference (WOCC 2010), 2010In dynamic spectrum access systems, such as cognitive radio networks, spectrum pooling is one of the approaches to manage the available spectrum bands from different licensed networks. Based on the concept of spectrum pooling, most previous work focuses on the system architecture and the design of flexible access algorithms and schemes.

Dynamic Spectrum Sharing with Multiple Primary and Secondary Users
2010 IEEE International Conference on Communications, 2010Dynamic spectrum sharing in cognitive radio networks can enhance flexibility, and as a result the efficiency of spectrum usage. In this paper, we address the problem of spectrum sharing in a cognitive radio network where multiple primary and secondary strategic-users are involved.

Dynamic Spectrum Sharing between Uplink and Relay-Assisted Downlink
VTC Spring 2009 - IEEE 69th Vehicular Technology Conference, 2009In a frequency-division-duplex (FDD) system, uplink and downlink are allocated equal bandwidths. Due to the relative sparseness of uplink Internet traffic, the uplink spectrum is usually under-utilized. In this paper, we propose dynamic spectrum access algorithms allowing relay-assisted downlink to opportunistically transmit over the uplink spectrum ...

Overview of Dynamic Sharing of Wireless Spectrum
2016The dynamic sharing of wireless spectrum has received significant attentions currently due to the fact of highly underutilized allocated spectrum resource and wireless spectrum scarcity for widely emerged bandwidth-hungry wireless applications.

A dynamic spectrum access MAC protocol based on spectrum analysis and spectrum sharing
2012 XXXVIII Conferencia Latinoamericana En Informatica (CLEI), 2012The radio spectrum is a finite resource and the current spectrum licensing model has led to a fenomenon known as spectrum scarcity. Several approaches have been presented in order to improve the effectiveness of spectrum utilization. This works main contribution is is to present an approach to opportunistic spectrum sensing and allocation focused on ...
