Analysis of Kinematics and Dynamics of Crank-Rocker Mechanism

Advanced Materials Research, 2014
Graphic method and analytical method are often used for calculation analysis of kinematics and dynamics of the crank-rocker mechanism. However, the analysis procedure is usually complicated and the analysis results can not be expressed visually and directly. Programs are made on the basis of theoretical analysis of kinematics and dynamics in this paper,

Dynamic analysis of a slider–crank mechanism with eccentric connector and planetary gears

Mechanism and Machine Theory, 2007
Abstract In this study, the kinematic and dynamic analysis of a modified slider–crank mechanism which has an additional eccentric link between connecting rod and crank pin, as distinct from a conventional mechanism, are presented. This new extra link that may be called the eccentric connector transmits gas forces to the crank, and it also drives a ...

Dynamics of the Generalized Slider-Crank Mechanism

19th Design Automation Conference: Volume 1 — Mechanical System Dynamics; Concurrent and Robust Design; Design for Assembly and Manufacture; Genetic Algorithms in Design and Structural Optimization, 1993
Abstract Dual-number techniques are used to analyze the dynamics of the slider crank mechanism generalized to consider the effects of the cylinder axis being offset and non-perpendicular to the crankshaft axis, conditions which result in reciprocating machinery such as engines and compressors from manufacturing tolerances.

Investigation of dynamic loads on the crank mechanism of a truck

Truck, 2022
In this work, a one-dimensional model of the crank and gas distribution mechanisms of a diesel engine has been developed and verified, taking into account the mass of parts and inertial forces. Simulation of their joint operation at different engine speeds has been carried out. The data on the dynamic loads on the crankshaft and camshafts were obtained.

With the Backlash Dynamics Simulation of a Crank-Slider Mechanism

Advanced Materials Research, 2012
On the basis of flexible multi-body system dynamics theory, we built flexible multi-body system dynamics models which include a backlash, and to a slider-crank mechanism as the research object, we made a preliminary study on the effect on the flexible components and the backlash of the kinematic pair on mechanical system dynamics characteristics.

Dynamic simulation of a smart crank and slider mechanism

Journal of Marine Science and Application, 2002
In this paper, a smart crank and slider mechanism is analyzed mostly from a dynamic view. By means of dynamic explicit finite element method, 3D nonlinear structure is simulated. It is proved that the mechanism can effectively accomplish smart movement prescribed.

Dynamic modeling and identification of a slider-crank mechanism

Journal of Sound and Vibration, 2006
In this paper, Hamilton's principle, Lagrange multiplier, geometric constraints and partitioning method are employed to derive the dynamic equations of a slider-crank mechanism driven by a servomotor. The formulation is expressed by only one independent variable and considers the effects of mass, external force and motor electric inputs.
