Dynamics of Multibody Haptic Systems
Volume 4: 8th International Conference on Multibody Systems, Nonlinear Dynamics, and Control, Parts A and B, 2011An essential requirement in haptics is accuracy and transparency of the haptic interface. Haptic devices are usually lightweight robotic systems with which a human operator interacts. In the current literature, dynamic analyses of haptic devices are limited to single degree-of-freedom (DoF) point mass models.

Multibody Dynamics of Very Flexible Damped Systems
Multibody System Dynamics, 1999The authors consider flexible multibody systems where the bodies may undergo large deformations. Both open and closed loop systems are considered with a variety of connecting joints. Kane's equations are used to obtain the governing dynamical equations. The formulation is then written in algorithmic form and implemented in a numerical procedure (FLXDYN)

Inverse Dynamics of Constrained Multibody Systems
Journal of Applied Mechanics, 1990A method for analyzing constrained multibody systems is presented. The method is applicable to a class of problems in which the multibody system is subjected to both force and kinematic constraints. This class of problems cannot be solved by using the classical methods.

Dynamics of Reconfigurable Multibody Systems
Volume 7A: 17th Biennial Conference on Mechanical Vibration and Noise, 1999Abstract Multibody dynamics with configuration changes are characterized by changes in the number and/or kind of constraint equations. Configuration changes mean the addition of impacts, changes of friction states, topological changes and so on.

DYNAMICS OF MULTIBODY SYSTEMS WITH UNILATERAL CONSTRAINTS
International Journal of Bifurcation and Chaos, 1999In couplings of machines and mechanisms, backlash and friction phenomena are always occurring. Whether stick–slip phenomena take place depends on the structure of such couplings. These processes can be modeled as multibody systems with a time-varying topology.

DYNAMICS OF MULTIBODY SYSTEMS – A BRIEF REVIEW
Acta Astronautica, 1989Abstract The subject of multibody dynamics is the simulation of large motions of complex systems of bodies interconnected by kinematical joints and by force elements such as springs, dampers and actuators. Typical technical multibody systems are vehicles, spacecraft, robots, mechanisms of all kinds, biomechanical systems and others.
