Long‐Term Outcomes of Reduced‐Intensity Conditioning Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation for Patients With Systemic Sclerosis With Impaired Cardiac Function

open access: yesArthritis &Rheumatology, EarlyView.
Objective High‐intensity conditioning autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (AHSCT) is standard of care for patients with advanced systemic sclerosis (SSc). The role of reduced‐intensity conditioning (RIC) before AHSCT in this population remains unclear.

Enhancing corneal ectasia susceptibility detection: analysis of a new algorithm (BAD-D v4)

open access: yesScientific Reports
Accurate detection of post-refractive ectasia susceptibility is essential during preoperative evaluation for laser vision correction (LVC) due to the risk of progressive corneal ectasia and vision decline post-surgery.

Klippel‐Trénaunay‐Weber Syndrome: Prenatal Diagnosis and Review of the Literature

open access: yesJournal of Clinical Ultrasound, Volume 53, Issue 3, Page 535-546, March/April 2025.
This meta‐analysis demonstrates the high diagnostic accuracy of SZ‐CEUS for differentiating between malignant and benign focal liver lesions, as well as for HCC from non‐HCC lesions. The study shows better performance for smaller lesions and those with a higher proportion of malignancy.

Corneal collagen cross-linking for treating keratoconus. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
BACKGROUND: Keratoconus is a condition of the eye that affects approximately 1 in 2000 people. The disease leads to a gradual increase in corneal curvature and decrease in visual acuity with consequent impact on quality of life.

Transcranial Color‐Coded Duplex Sonography in Large‐Vessel Vasculitis Compatible With Takayasu Arteritis Presenting Intracranial Involvement and Vertebrobasilar Dolichoectasia: A Case Report

open access: yesJournal of Clinical Ultrasound, EarlyView.
This case illustrates sequential intracranial occlusions in large‐vessel vasculitis compatible with Takayasu arteritis preserving perfusion through robust collateral pathways. Transcranial color‐coded duplex sonography identified characteristic blunted flow patterns and focal turbulence, underscoring its value in detecting hemodynamic compromise beyond

Analysis of best corrected visual acuity following corneal refractive surgery comparing low and standard predicted postoperative keratometry [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
BACKGROUND: It is a commonly held view in the ophthalmologic community that eyes with sufficiently low calculated postoperative corneal keratometry, less than 35 diopters, should not undergo corrective refractive laser surgery (CRLS) due to the increased

Toric implantable collamer lens for keratoconus

open access: yesIndian Journal of Ophthalmology, 2013
Keratoconus is a progressive non-inflammatory thinning of the cornea that induces myopia and irregular astigmatism and decreases the quality of vision due to monocular diplopia, halos, or ghost images.

Sonographic findings in non-neoplastic testicular lesions [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
Pathological processes of the testis are very frequently found, and include non-tumoral and tumoral lesions. Ultra-sonography performed with a high-frequency transducer has become the imaging modality of choice for examination of these organs.

Large Dolichoectasia Concurrently Involving Both Anterior and Posterior Cerebral Circulation: A Case Report

open access: yes대한영상의학회지, 2022
Dolichoectasia is an uncommon disorder characterized by the presence of a dilated, elongated, and tortuous cerebral artery. Its main pathologic mechanism is the disruption of the internal elastic lamina. Risk factors for dolichoectasia are advanced age,
