Radical Resection of the Third Portion of the Duodenum for Secondary Aortoduodenal Fistula

open access: yesAnnals of Gastroenterological Surgery, Volume 10, Issue 6, Page 1814-1821, November 2026.
Secondary aortoduodenal fistula most commonly involves the third portion of the duodenum and requires definitive management of both vascular and gastrointestinal components. We demonstrate a step‐by‐step technique for radical duodenal resection and reconstruction performed in structured collaboration with cardiovascular surgeons.

Selective AUTAC‐mediated ATP7B degradation unlocks cuproptosis vulnerability in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma

open access: yesClinical and Translational Medicine, Volume 16, Issue 11, November 2026.
ATP7B is aberrantly upregulated in PDAC cells, contributing to the maintenance of copper homeostasis. We designed ATAUTAC, a targeted autophagy‐dependent degradation molecule that selectively eliminates ATP7B. By disrupting copper balance, ATAUTAC sensitizes PDAC cells to cuproptosis, thereby amplifying copper‐induced metabolic stress and effectively ...

Toward a digital urinary biopsy for early risk stratification in diabetic kidney disease: Anchoring shed cells, vesicles, and cell‐free DNA to spatial kidney cell states

open access: yesClinical and Translational Medicine, Volume 16, Issue 11, November 2026.
In diabetic kidney disease, one urine specimen carries shed cells, extracellular vesicles and cell‐free DNA released along the whole nephron. Reading all three against spatial kidney atlases is proposed as a testable route to cell‐resolved, non‐invasive risk stratification, and the clinical outputs shown are not yet demonstrated.

Circular RNA SMAD4 coordinates with m6A‐dependent IGF2BP2 to promote gallbladder cancer development

open access: yesClinical and Translational Medicine, Volume 16, Issue 11, November 2026.
• circSMAD4 is upregulated in GBC and is associated with poor survival. • IGF2BP2 promotes circSMAD4 biogenesis through m6A‐dependent recognition mediated by its KH3‐KH4 domains. • circSMAD4 and IGF2BP2 reciprocally stabilize each other, forming a positive feedback loop that activates JAK2/STAT3 signalling and EMT.

LINC01537 Regulates Malignant Phenotypes and Predicts Prognosis in Breast Cancer, and Its Bioinformatics Analysis

open access: yesJournal of Biochemical and Molecular Toxicology, Volume 40, Issue 11, November 2026.
LINC01537 is upregulated in breast cancer, predicting poor prognosis; it acts as a ceRNA sponging miR‐138‐5p to upregulate EZH2, promoting breast cancer progression via this axis. ABSTRACT Breast cancer is a highly heterogeneous malignancy and constitutes one of the leading health threats to women globally.
