Exosomes in Cancer: The Biology, Function, Diagnosis, and Therapy

open access: yesMedComm, Volume 7, Issue 11, November 2026.
Tumor‐derived exosomes and nonmembranous extracellular nanoparticles (exomeres/supermeres) constitute a heterogeneous communication network that drives cancer progression. By shuttling functional biomolecules across tissue‐specific barriers, these nanoparticles orchestrate local microenvironmental remodeling, immune suppression, premetastatic niche ...

Liver Injury Repair and Regeneration: Molecular Mechanisms and Therapeutic Targets

open access: yesMedComm, Volume 7, Issue 11, November 2026.
This review outlines the spatiotemporal framework of liver injury repair and regeneration, orchestrated by molecular signaling, multicellular niche crosstalk, metabolic reprogramming, and interorgan communication. Post‑injury regenerative cascades (initiation, proliferation, termination) rely on crosstalk between hepatocytes, Kupffer cells, hepatic ...

Chemodectoma Arising From the Abdominal Aorta in a 9‐Year‐Old Female Dog: Clinical, Histopathological and Immunohistochemstric Study

open access: yesVeterinary Medicine and Science, Volume 12, Issue 6, November 2026.
A 9‐year‐old spayed female dog presented with a solitary, well‐demarcated, intensely vascular abdominal mass closely associated with the aortic trifurcation on advanced imaging. Exploratory laparotomy confirmed that the lesion was unresectable because of its anatomical relationships and the risk of catastrophic haemorrhage.

Hepatic Overexpression of Lysophospholipid Acyltransferase LPLAT14/MBOAT1 Ameliorates Mild Liver Injury During Early High‐Fat Diet Feeding

open access: yesFASEB BioAdvances, Volume 8, Issue 11, November 2026.
Using an improved adenovirus vector, we investigated the effects of hepatic LPLAT14 overexpression on high‐fat diet (HFD)‐induced metabolic disorders and mild liver injury in mice. LPLAT14 selectively increased oleic acid (OA)‐containing phosphatidylserine (PS) species in the liver. This specific lipidomic remodeling attenuated mild liver injury during
