Koopman‐Based Nonlinear Identification and Model Predictive Control of a Turbofan Engine

A Koopman model is identified using a metaheuristic extended dynamic model decompostion and an adaptive Koopman model predictive control framework is proposed. Simulation results indicate improved robustness of the MPC controller relative to benchmark methods.
