A rational ansatz for the approximation of Koopman eigenfunctions
Abstract Koopman operator theory offers a basis for the systematic transformation and linearization of complex dynamical systems. We propose a method to approximate eigenfunctions of the Koopman operator for sufficiently smooth, deterministic and autonomous dynamical systems with hyperbolic fixed points in an equation‐based context.

Diffusion Maps Kalman Filter for a Class of Systems with Gradient Flows
In this paper, we propose a non-parametric method for state estimation of high-dimensional nonlinear stochastic dynamical systems, which evolve according to gradient flows with isotropic diffusion. We combine diffusion maps, a manifold learning technique,

Optimal PRFs from Blockcipher Designs
Cryptographic modes built on top of a blockcipher usually rely on the assumption that this primitive behaves like a pseudorandom permutation (PRP). For many of these modes, including counter mode and GCM, stronger security guarantees could be derived if ...

This study delves into LEM domain nuclear envelope protein 2 (LEMD2)‐associated progeroid syndrome, elucidating its phenotypic and molecular aspects in the first female and fourth reported case. In vitro experiments using patient‐derived cells and LEMD2‐downregulated HepG2 cells revealed pronounced nuclear envelope abnormalities.

Myofiber degeneration in autosomal-dominant Emery-Dreifuss muscular dystrophy (AD-EDMD) (LGMD1B)
Autosomal dominant Emery‐Dreifuss muscular dystrophy is caused by mutations in the LMNA gene that code for the nuclear membrane protein lamin A/C. We investigated skeletal muscle fibers from several muscles for cytoplasmic degenerative changes in three patients with genetically confirmed ...

An Investigation of Transition Flow in Porous Media by Event Driven Molecular Dynamics Simulation
Aim of this study is to investigate the properties of mono-atomic gas flow through the porous medium by using Event-Driven Molecular Dynamics (EDMD) simulation in the transition regime.

Cooperative Output Regulation for Multi-Agent Systems with EDMD Leader Approximation
Abstract This paper presents a distributed output regulation algorithm for the leader-follower heterogeneous multi-agent system with unknown leader dynamics. The unknown nonlinear dynamics of the leader agent are reconstructed based on a data-driven transformation that lifts the nonlinear dynamics to a linear space that approximates it.
