EGFR Mutation Status in Uighur Lung Adenocarcinoma Patients

open access: yes, 2013
Background and objective Epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR), a transmembrane protein, is a member of the tyrosine kinase family. Gefitinib, an EGFR tyrosine-kinase inhibitors, has shown a high response rate in the treatment of lung cancer in ...

NSD2 Coordinates the Neurogenic‐to‐Gliogenic Transition via H3K36me2‐Dependent Activation of the EGFR‐ERK Pathway

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
NSD2 coordinates the neurogenic‐to‐gliogenic transition in the developing neocortex through H3K36me2‐dependent activation of EGFR–ERK signaling. Loss of NSD2 disrupts astroglial and oligodendroglial development, whereas ERK activation rescues gliogenic defects in vitro and in vivo.

Clinical features and therapeutic options in non‐small cell lung cancer patients with concomitant mutations of EGFR, ALK, ROS1, KRAS or BRAF

open access: yesCancer Medicine, 2019
Background Although oncogenic driver mutations were thought to be mutually exclusive in non‐small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), certain tumors harbor co‐occurring mutations and represent a rare molecular subtype.

A Panel of Circulating Exosomal sncRNAs Associated With Lung Cancer Risk up to 10 Years in Advance

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Lung cancer is often diagnosed too late, and current screening overlooks many people at risk. In a long‐term study of smokers, a panel of small non‐coding RNAs carried in blood exosomes signals elevated lung cancer risk up to ten years before diagnosis, pointing toward a blood‐based tool for earlier risk detection.

Comparison of Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor Mutations between Primary and Corresponding Metastatic Tumors in Tyrosine Kinase Inhibitor-Naive Non -Small-Cell Lung Cancer

open access: yes, 2010
Background: Mutations of the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) gene in non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC) patients predict the patients who will respond to EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) treatment.

ANGPTL4 Exacerbates Renal Injury in Diabetic Kidney Disease by Impairing Podocyte Lipophagy via Compromised Lysosomal Degradative Function

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In diabetic kidney disease, elevated podocyte ANGPTL4 is linked to reduced TFEB nuclear localization and compromised lysosomal degradative function. These changes impair podocyte lipophagy and promote lipid‐droplet accumulation and podocyte injury, which may contribute to renal injury progression.

Genetic Ablation and Multi‐Omics Profiling Reveal CEP55 as a Key Driver of Tumorigenesis in Diverse Cancer Models

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Genetic ablation of Cep55 in Pten‐deficient mouse models delays tumorigenesis. Integrated multi‐omics analyses (proteomics, phosphoproteomics, and spatial transcriptomics) reveal that CEP55 regulates oncogenic signaling (RAS/ERK, PI3K/AKT), integrin/FAK‐mediated adhesion, extracellular matrix (ECM) remodeling, and endocytosis.
