Photothermal‐Activated Antibacterial Amyloid‐Polyphenol‐Iron Hydrogels for Synergistic Wound Healing

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
We report a thermally triggered supramolecular hydrogel (LTFe) formed by Fe3+ and tannic acid on lysozyme amyloid fibrils. Fe3+ enables rapid gelation and photothermal transduction with an efficiency of 88.56%. The LTFe hydrogel exhibits excellent biocompatibility, potent antibacterial activity against E. coli and S.

Heritability of Egg Production and Egg Weight in Turkey

open access: yesPoultry Science, 1954
Abstract ALTHOUGH the inheritance of quantitative characters in chickens has been rather extensively investigated the measurement of genetic and environmental variances in turkeys has been largely neglected. Tacit assumptions that the magnitude of the genetic variability relative to the total variability is of the same size for analogous characters ...

Kelvin Probe Force Microscopy in Bionanotechnology: Current Advances and Future Perspectives

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Kelvin probe force microscopy (KPFM) enables the nanoscale mapping of electrostatic surface potentials. While widely applied in materials science, its use in biological systems remains emerging. This review presents recent advances in KPFM applied to biological samples and provides a critical perspective on current limitations and future directions for

Effects of dietary taurine on egg weight

open access: yesPoultry Science, 1998
Two experiments were conducted to determine whether taurine supplementation to laying hens would influence laying performance. In Experiment 1, a total of 120 White Leghorn hens were fed diets supplemented with 0, 0.25, or 0.5% taurine for 5 wk. Egg weight was reduced significantly by supplementing 0.25 and 0.5% taurine; however, taurine did not affect

Pengaruh Penyuntikan Ekstrak Kelenjar Hipofisa Ayam Broiler terhadap Fertilitas, Daya Tetas dan Survival Rate Ikan Mas (Cyprinus Carpio L.) [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
The objectives of this experiment were to study the effect of chicken hypophyse gland exttact for spawning of carp. Each twenty female of about 2950-3050 g/head and 100 of male carp of about 300-350 g body weight/head were used in the experiments ...

Kualitas Fisik Telur Puyuh Yang Direndam Dalam Larutan Gelatin Tulang Kaki Ayam Dengan Lama Penyimpanan Yang Berbeda [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
Quail eggs is one of the perishable food. If left in the open air at room temperature, the shelf life ranged between 10-14 days. Preservation is one of the way to prolong shelf life which can be done by soaking the eggs in a gelatin solution. The purpose

Flexible Chemiresistive Chitosan‐Glycerol Sensors on Laser‐Induced Graphene Electrodes for Room‐Temperature Ammonia Detection

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
Flexible Chitosan‐glycerol sensor integrated with porous laser‐induced graphene (LIG) electrodes enable room‐temperature chemiresistive detection of ammonia (NH3) and proof‐of‐concept detection of fish spoilage. ABSTRACT We report a metal‐free sensor platform combining laser induced graphene (LIG) electrodes with drop‐deposited, glycerol‐plasticized ...
