PHOSPHOLIPIDS OF EHRLICH ASCITES TUMOR

Canadian Journal of Biochemistry, 1964
The following phosphatides (in approximate order of concentration) were studied in cells of the Ehrlich ascites carcinoma incubated in a medium containing inorganic P32: lecithin > sphingomyelin > phosphatidyl ethanolamine = phosphatidyl inositol = phosphatidic acid > choline plasmalogen = phosphatidyl serine > ethanolamine plasmalogen. TUMOR CELL POPULATION OF THE EHRLICH ASCITES TUMORS

Canadian Journal of Genetics and Cytology, 1968
E,hrlich ascites tumor is propagated b?injecting cellh, suspended in ascitic fluid, into the peritoneal cavities of mice. As the cells proliferate an increasing amount of exudate accumulates in the peritoneal cavities. Mice \\lit11 such tumors survive for approsimatelv tu.o to three weeks, depe~iding on the dose of tumor cells.
