Equivalent Circuit Modeling and Analysis for Microfluidic Electrical Impedance Monitoring of Single-Cell Growth

open access: yesBiosensors
Microfluidics has significantly advanced the field of single-cell analysis, particularly in studies related to cell growth, division, and heterogeneity. Electrical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), a label-free and non-invasive biosensing technique, has been

Facts and artefacts regarding correlation between skin electrical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) and blood glucose

open access: yesJournal of Physics: Conference Series, 2013
Earlier observations on possible co-variation between skin EIS and blood glucose prompted us to map and include other factors at play in the predictive model. Skin pH would be one such factor. A cohort of 20 diabetics was investigated, taking around 30 measurements spread over each of two different days 2–21 days apart.

Interfacial and Crystallographic Regulation of Zinc Anode via Electric Double Layer Reconstruction for Highly Stable Zn Anode

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Trace amounts of perfluoro‐1‐butanesulfonyl fluoride enables the regulation of the Zn/electrolyte interface by the generated zincophilic ─SO3H groups with long hydrophobic ─CF2 tails, which adsorb strongly onto the Zn surface, displace water molecules from the inner Helmholtz plane, and reconstruct the electrical double‐layer structure.

Effect of salt stress on electrical impedance spectroscopy parameters of wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) leaves

open access: yes浙江大学学报. 农业与生命科学版, 2009
To find out the traits of electrical parameter in cell membrane of wheat leaves under salt stress, electrical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) was applied to follow the reaction of impedance parameters at different NaCl concentrations. Four EIS parameters of

Delaminated areas beneath organic coating: A local electrochemical impedance approach [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
Local electrochemical impedance mapping was used to investigate delamination phenomena at the steel/epoxy-vinyl primer interface. The delamination occurred from an artificial defect(cutter scribing) and from ageing in a salt spray chamber.

Fabrication of Pyridinic Nitrogen‐Functionalized Carbon Cloth for High‐Performance Iron‐Chromium Flow Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The carbon cloth electrode with targeted pyridinic nitrogen doping, achieved via urea pyrolysis, effectively modulates the adsorption of Cr(II) species and enhances electron transfer, leading to significantly improved kinetics of the Cr(II)/Cr(III) reaction. The material demonstrates a high discharge capacity of 689.3 mAh and an energy efficiency of 72.

Artifact‐Minimizing Ultrathin Transparent Electrodes Fabricated via iCVD for In Vivo Optogenetic Stimulation and Neural Signal Monitoring of Primary Visual Cortex

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
We present ultrathin flexible transparent electrodes through iCVD‐enabled molecular control of 10 nm gold films on poly(dimethylaminomethylstyrene). In vivo validation demonstrated photoelectric artifact reduction vs. opaque electrodes and preservation of natural neural dynamics.
