Effective coupling of rapid freeze-quench to high-frequency electron paramagnetic resonance.
We report an easy, efficient and reproducible way to prepare Rapid-Freeze-Quench samples in sub-millimeter capillaries and load these into the probe head of a 275 GHz Electron Paramagnetic Resonance spectrometer.

Indium Doping of Lead-Free Perovskite Cs2SnI6
Structure and properties of an inorganic perovskite Cs2SnI6 demonstrated its potential as a light-harvester or electron-hole transport material; however, its optoelectronic properties are poorer than those of lead-based perovskites.

Quantifying Spin Defect Density in hBN via Raman and Photoluminescence Analysis
An all‐optical method is presented for quantifying the density of boron vacancy spin defects in hexagonal boron nitride (hBN). By correlating Raman and photoluminescence signals with irradiation fluence, defect‐induced Raman modes are identified and established an relationship linking optical signatures to absolute defect densities. This enables direct

Fe─NC porous oxygen reduction electrocatalysts are prepared employing a 2,4,6‐Triaminopyrimidine‐based porous organic polymer, a Mg2+ Lewis acid, and a low‐temperature cation exchange protocol. Using the polymer precursor achieves high pyrolysis yields and results in atomically dispersed FeNx sites. The resulting catalysts feature hierarchical porosity

A FeN4─O/Clu@NC‐0.1Ac catalyst containing atomically‐dispersed FeN4─O sites (medium‐spin Fe2+) and Fe clusters delivered a half‐wave potential of 0.89 V for ORR and an overpotential of 330 mV at 10 mA cm−2 for OER in 0.1 m KOH. When the catalyst was used in a rechargeable Zn–air battery, a power density of 284.5 mW cm−2 was achieved with excellent ...

Decoration of Carbon Nanotubes with Cerium (IV) Oxide
Cerium (IV) oxide (ceria) nanoparticles, 6–10 nm in size, supported on carbon nanotubes (CNTs) were prepared by a chemical reaction between Ce(NO3)3 and NaOH. The effective processing parameters of ceria particles size were discussed.
