ABSTRACT Alveolar epithelial cell pyroptosis exacerbates inflammation and tissue damage by releasing inflammatory mediators, thereby promoting the development of acute lung injury (ALI). However, the fundamental mechanism underlying alveolar epithelial cell pyroptosis in ALI has not yet been elucidated. Lipopolysaccharide (LPS) was used to simulate ALI

Triblock Polyampholyte‐Based Nanovesicles for Targeted Spleen Delivery
Polymeric nanovesicles, assembled from triblock polyampholytes, exhibit unilamellar structure and enhanced stability through membrane cross‐linking. These nanovesicles demonstrate prolonged blood circulation and selective accumulation in the spleen after intravenous injection in mice, highlighting their potential for targeted drug delivery applications.

Bio‐Inspired, Zwitterionic Copolymers with Amphiphilic Character
Zwitterionic copolymers based on arginine‐derived monomers are produced by xanthate‐supported photo‐iniferter reversible‐addition‐fragmentation chain‐transfer polymerization. Experiments in relevant conditions show that the designed (co)polymers hardly interact with biologically relevant proteins and enzymes such as bovine serum albumine (BSA), fetal ...

Protein glycosylation in lung cancer from a mass spectrometry perspective
Abstract Lung cancer is a severe disease for which better diagnostic and therapeutic approaches are urgently needed. Increasing evidence implies that aberrant protein glycosylation plays a crucial role in the pathogenesis and progression of lung cancer.

Mass spectrometry imaging of N‐linked glycans: Fundamentals and recent advances
Abstract With implications in several medical conditions, N‐linked glycosylation is one of the most important posttranslation modifications present in all living organisms. Due to their nontemplate synthesis, glycan structures are extraordinarily complex and require multiple analytical techniques for complete structural elucidation.
