Feasibility of Protein a for the Oriented Immobilization of Immunoglobulin on Silicon Surface for a Biosensor with Imaging Ellipsometry

open access: yes, 2003
The feasibility of using protein A to immobilize antibody on silicon surface for a biosensor with imaging ellipsometry was presented in this study. The amount of human IgG bound with anti-IgG immobilized by the protein A on silicon surface was much more ...

Generative and Experimental Validation of High Refractive Index Polymers via Domain Knowledge Approach with Small Data

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Discovery, EarlyView.
This research demonstrates that the combination of domain knowledge–based multiple regression, multi‐objective Bayesian optimization, and generative models is a suitable prediction tool for candidates of high refractive index polymers, even with the constraints in the model trained on limited data. The experimental validation can reproduce the proposed

Surface modification methods to improve behavior of biosensor based on imaging ellipsometry

open access: yes, 2013
Surface modifications not only perform functions as ligand immobilization and biosensing interface formation, but also play a crucial role for inhibiting noise and enhance biosensor signal. After years of development, several surface modification methods

Spectral Response Modelling of Multilayer Graphene/Quantum Dot Heterostructures

open access: yesAdvanced Physics Research, EarlyView.
The spectral response of a multilayer heterostructure device with multiple layers of graphene and photosensitizers of different bandgaps (ZnO and quantum dots) is simulated and validated with experimental data. Our simulation incorporates photon absorption by the photosensitizers and charge collection by graphene, capturing the photoresponse dependence

Carbon‐Doped Amorphous Gallium Oxide Forms a Heterojunction With Water to Improve the Electrocatalytic Oxygen Evolution Reaction

open access: yesCarbon Energy, EarlyView.
A dynamic catalyst–H2O heterojunction (CWH) forms on ACG during OER, with periodic bubble evolution modulating band bending and interfacial charge transfer. Electron–radical coupling drives the generation of •OH/•O2− species, converting Ga2O3 into GaOOH, whereas surface CO32− from C doping stabilizes the interface, suppressing catalyst dissolution and ...

S‐Doped Carbon Nitride Thin Films From a Triazole Precursor

open access: yesCarbon Innovation, EarlyView.
Sulfur‐functionalized carbon nitride thin films are synthesized via low‐temperature chemical vapor deposition using a triazole‐derived precursor. Tunable sulfur incorporation modulates electronic and optical properties and enables efficient visible‐light photocatalysis with high conversion and selectivity.
