Influence of embryo transfer on embryo preimplantation development [PDF]

open access: possibleFertility and Sterility, 2012
To investigate the impact of injection speeds of the transferred load on embryo development.A laboratory model for in vitro simulation of ET was developed to investigate the impact of varying injection speeds of the transferred load on embryo development.Academic research institutes of reproduction biotechnology and private centers of reproductive ...

The haemoglobins of developing duck embryos

Development, 1980
ABSTRACT Three haemoglobins were isolated by ion-exchange chromatography from the haemolysates of embryonic duck erythrocytes up to 8 days of development. The component globins were characterized both by electrophoresis in dissociating conditions and by finger-printing analysis.

Rat embryo development in vitro

Acta Endocrinologica, 1981
Abstract. We report the first successful culture of 8-cell/morula stage rat embryos in a fully synthetic medium supplemented with 3% crystalline bovine serum albumin. Eighty-four per cent of morulae developed to blastocysts, showing that this is a highly efficient culture medium for in vitro studies on rat pre-implantation embryos. Blastocyst formation

Erythropoiesis in the developing chick embryo

Developmental Biology, 1973
Abstract The types of erythroid cells of chick embryos developing in ovo have been correlated with the hemoglobins of the embryos. Prior to 5 days, when primitive cells constitute the only erythroid cells, two hemoglobins can be resolved by polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis.
