Adaptive Signal Processing Algorithms Based on EMD and ITD
In the last two decades, both Empirical Mode Decomposition (EMD) and Intrinsic Time-Scale Decomposition (ITD) algorithms deserved a variety of applications in various fields of science and engineering due to their obvious advantages compared to ...

Responsive Visible‐Wavelength Metasurfaces from Porous Silicon Based on Fano Guided‐Mode Resonance
The article introduces mesoporous silicon metasurfaces (pSi‐MS) supporting Fano guided‐mode resonances in the visible regime. By combining top‐down lithographic patterning of 2D gratings with bottom‐up electrochemical porosification, the approach realizes a new class of responsive metasurfaces, enabling highly sensitive and portable platforms for small

Hybrid Models Combining EMD/EEMD and ARIMA for Long-Term Streamflow Forecasting
: Long-term streamflow forecast is of great significance for water resource application and management. However, accurate monthly streamflow forecasting is challenging due to its non-stationarity and uncertainty.

Formation of Condition‐Dependent Alpha‐Synuclein Fibril Strain in Artificial Cerebrospinal Fluid
α‐synuclein aggregation in artificial cerebrospinal fluid (aCSF) leads to a distinct conformation with an electron density pocket motif found in aggregates from PD and MSA patients. Such fibrils has low stability outside the reaction conditions, hinting about the influence of cerebrospinal fluid components not only on the formation, but also on the ...

NDST3‐Induced Epigenetic Reprogramming Reverses Neurodegeneration in Parkinson's Disease
NDST3‐mediated epigenetic reprogramming revitalizes neuronal circuits in the substantia nigra and striatum to halt dopaminergic neuron degeneration and restore motor function in Parkinson's disease models. This strategy promotes neuronal maintenance and functional recovery, highlighting NDST3's therapeutic potential in neurodegenerative disorders ...

TREM2 recognizes NETs‐derived MPO to promote DC maturation and antigen presentation, thereby exacerbating the autoimmune response in SLE. Mechanistically, TREM2 activation triggers the DAP12/SYK/ERK cascade and enhances NETs internalization by DCs, which in turn activates the cGAS/STING signaling pathway.

Facilitation of dragonfly target-detecting neurons by slow moving features on continuous paths
Dragonflies detect and pursue targets such as other insects for feeding and conspecific interaction. They have a class of neurons highly specialised for this task in their lobula, the ‘small target motion detecting’ (STMD) neurons.
