Highly sensitive chiral analysis in capillary electrophoresis with large-volume sample stacking with an electroosmotic flow pump. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
To improve the sensitivity in chiral analysis by capillary electrophoresis without loss of optical resolution, application of large-volume sample stacking with an electroosmotic flow pump (LVSEP) was investigated. Effects of the addition of cyclodextrin (

Preparative separation of ketoprofen enantiomers: choice of mobile phase composition and measurement of competitive adsorption isotherms [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
The present work intends to investigate how mobile phase composition influences the adsorption behavior of ketoprofen enantiomers (a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug) on an amylose-based chiral stationary phase (Chiralpak AD).

Preparation of Chiral Porous Organic Cage Clicked Chiral Stationary Phase for HPLC Enantioseparation

open access: yesMolecules, 2023
Porous organic cages (POCs) are a new subclass of porous materials, which are constructed from discrete cage molecules with permanent cavities via weak intermolecular forces.

Distinguishing left- and right-handed molecules by two-step coherent pulses

open access: yes, 2010
Chiral molecules with broken parity symmetries can be modeled as quantum systems with cyclic-transition structures. By using these novel properties, we design two-step laser pulses to distinguish left- and right-handed molecules from the enantiomers ...

Enantioseparation on Riboflavin Derivatives Chemically Bonded to Silica Gel as Chiral Stationary Phases for HPLC [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
International audienceAcetylated and/or 3,5-dimethylphenylcarbamated riboflavins were prepared and the resulting riboflavin derivatives as well as natural riboflavin were regioselectively immobilized on silica gel through chemical bonding at the 5’-O- or

Design, synthesis and biological activity of selective hCAs inhibitors based on 2-(benzylsulfinyl)benzoic acid scaffold [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
A large library of derivatives based on the scaffold of 2-(benzylsulfinyl)benzoic acid were synthesised and tested as atypical inhibitors against four different isoforms of human carbonic anhydrase (hCA I, II, IX and XII, EC 4.2.1.1).

A New C2-Symmetric Atropisomeric Thiophene-Based Monomer for Inherently Chiral Electroactive Materials: Synthesis, HPLC Resolution, and Absolute Configuration Assignment

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2023
Herein, we report on the synthesis and high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) resolution of a new atropisomeric C2-symmetry chiral monomer based on the 3,3′-bithiophene core, which was developed to produce novel, inherently oligomeric chiral ...

A Review on Medicinal Chemistry and Biological Activity of Dihydropyrimidinones Against HIV

open access: yesArchiv der Pharmazie, Volume 359, Issue 4, April 2026.
This article presents the latest advances in the development of dihydropyrimidinone (DHPM) derivatives as promising candidates against HIV. By exploring their interactions with essential viral targets and highlighting innovative compounds with potent antiviral activity, we provide an updated perspective on the opportunities for new antiretroviral ...

On the effect of aqueous organic mobile phases on the enantioseparation of halogenated 4,4’-bipyridines using polysaccharide carbamate-based chiral columns

open access: yesJournal of Chromatography Open
In the last decade, the contribution of halogen bond (HaB) in liquid phase enantioseparation of halogenated analytes was demonstrated by using polysaccharide-based chiral stationary phases (CSPs) and n-hexane-containing mixtures as mobile phases.

Wireless Enantioselective Bipolar Electrocatalysis: Visual Quantification of Chiral Tryptophan via Kinetic pH‐Transduction

open access: yesChemCatChem, Volume 18, Issue 7, 14 April 2026.
A direct chiral recognition and quantitative enantiomeric excess (ee) evaluation is achieved using an enantiopure polymer‐modified bipolar electrode. The wireless approach is controlled by the enantiomer oxidation kinetics, translating the ee into a precisely correlated, visually quantifiable pH‐induced color halo size.
