Control of human endometrial stromal cell motility by PDGF-BB, HB-EGF and trophoblast-secreted factors [PDF]
Human implantation involves extensive tissue remodeling at the fetal-maternal interface. It is becoming increasingly evident that not only trophoblast, but also decidualizing endometrial stromal cells are inherently motile and invasive, and likely ...

Patterns of care and outcomes for endometrial and ovarian cancers in botswana 2015–2021
Purpose: Endometrial and ovarian cancers are leading causes of cancer death among women. However, there is little data on these patients from low- and middle-income countries including Botswana, a country in sub-Saharan Africa. This study reports data on

Analysis of lncRNA sequences: FAM3D-AS1, LINC01230, LINC01315 and LINC01468 in endometrial cancer
Background The analysis of long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) in endometrial cancer is a novel field of science. Although numerous lncRNA sequences have been identified until today, their correlation with endometrial cancer is still undetermined.

EXOSC10, an essential nuclear RNA exosome‐associated 3′‐5′ exoribonuclease, is inhibited by the anticancer drug 5‐fluorouracil (5‐FU), and EXOSC10 depletion increases 5‐FU sensitivity. The colon‐cancer variant EXOSC10S402T, located in a proteolysis motif, is stable and nuclear but nonfunctional in vivo.

RNA profiling of circulating extracellular vesicles (EVs) from blood samples of men undergoing prostate biopsy identifies transcripts associated with clinically significant prostate cancer. Integrative analysis with public tumor datasets links EV‐derived gene signatures to tumor stage and progression‐free survival, highlighting CASP3, XRCC2, and RIT1 ...

Intratumour heterogeneity complicates precision management of advanced endometrial cancer. Circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) offers a minimally invasive strategy to capture tumor evolution and therapeutic resistance. Here, we compare tumor‐agnostic NGS with tumor‐informed ddPCR, outlining their relative sensitivity, concordance, and clinical implications ...

This review summarizes the transcription factors, repressive chromatin‐modifying complexes, and epigenetic mechanisms that control fetal hemoglobin repression. Notably, many regulators of γ‐globin silencing also function in transcriptional and epigenetic networks that drive cancer, highlighting opportunities to translate advances in hemoglobinopathy ...

Investigation of dietary factors and endometrial cancer risk using a nutrient-wide association study approach in the EPIC and nurses' health study (NHS) and NHSII [PDF]
Data on the role of dietary factors in endometrial cancer development are limited and inconsistent. We applied a "nutrient-wide association study" approach to systematically evaluate dietary risk associations for endometrial cancer while controlling for ...
