LncRNA NEAT1 affects endometrial receptivity by regulating HOXA10 promoter activity
In vitro fertilization and embryo transfer (IVF-ET) is one of the effective methods to treat female infertility. Poor endometrial receptivity (ER) is an important factor leading to embryo implantation dysfunction, which can reduce pregnancy rate of IVF ...

VIP contribution to the decidualization program: regulatory T cell recruitment [PDF]
During early pregnancy, the human uterus undergoes profound tissue remodeling characterized by leukocyte invasion and production of proinflammatory cytokines, followed by tissue repair and tolerance maintenance induction.

Fatty acids play important roles in maintaining ovarian steroidogenesis and endometrial receptivity. Porcine primary ovarian granulosa cells (PGCs) and endometrial epithelial cells (PEECs) were treated with or without medium- and short-chain fatty acids (

Single‐cell RNA‐seq of normal and endometritis endometrium shows reduced epithelial cells and fate divergence toward ferroptosis or ribosome/antigen‐presentation programs. COL1A1+ epithelial cells act as an AP‐1–driven hub that enhances VEGFA–VEGFR signaling and remodels the vascular microenvironment.

Trophinin and integrin β3 expression in the human endometrium. A pilot study [PDF]
The study involved ten patients with tubal factor infertility. Patients (Group I, age 28–34 years, n=5; Group II, age 35–40 years, n=5) underwent endometrial biopsy on postovulatory days 7–10 of the natural menstrual cycle.

In this study, 3D‐TVS measurements of the uterine junction zone (JZ) in 120 patients showed that a JZmax threshold of ≥ 0.45 cm yielded 77% sensitivity and 89% specificity for adenomyosis diagnosis. Notably, JZ thickness varies minimally with age, demonstrating its stability and excellent diagnostic performance.

Progestins Related to Progesterone and Testosterone Elicit Divergent Human Endometrial Transcriptomes and Biofunctions. [PDF]
Progestins are widely used for the treatment of gynecologic disorders and alone, or combined with an estrogen, are used as contraceptives. While their potencies, efficacies and side effects vary due to differences in structures, doses and routes of ...
