Hydrolysis of phospholipids by a lysosomal enzyme

open access: yesJournal of Lipid Research, 1967
The phospholipid-hydrolyzing activity of rat liver lysosomes has been studied. These lysosomes contain a phospholipase that cleaves both fatty acid ester linkages of lecithin and of phosphatidyl ethanolamine and releases free fatty acids from both ...

Research on Preparation of Rapeseed Polypeptide by Multi Enzyme Step-by-step Hydrolysis

open access: yesLiang you shipin ke-ji, 2022
In this experiment, a multi-enzyme method was used to prepare rapeseed peptides by stepwise hydrolysis of rapeseed proteins. Based on four single-factor experiments of hydrolysis temperature, hydrolysis time, pH value and enzyme addition, the response ...

The enzymic hydrolysis of amygdalin [PDF]

open access: yesBiochemical Journal, 1967
Chromatographic examination has shown that the enzymic hydrolysis of amygdalin by an almond beta-glucosidase preparation proceeds consecutively: amygdalin was hydrolysed to prunasin and glucose; prunasin to mandelonitrile and glucose; mandelonitrile to benzaldehyde and hydrocyanic acid. Gentiobiose was not formed during the enzymic hydrolysis.
