Effective and Practical Stereoselective Synthesis of Nutlins Precursors by Immobilization of Privileged Chiral Mono‐Amidine Catalyst

open access: yesAdvanced Synthesis &Catalysis, EarlyView.
Abstract A strategy for the immobilization of Johnston's Mono(AMidine) catalyst (MAM) onto polystyrene, silica and hybrid silica‐polystyrene nanoparticles is presented. The catalyst activity was evaluated in the stereoselective aza‐Henry reaction leading to the pivotal β‐amino nitroalkane precursors of the anti‐cancer agents Nutlins (with Nutlin‐3a as ...

Methods of Enzyme Immobilization

open access: yes, 2016
Enzyme immobilization is a technique specifically designed to restrict the freedom of movement of an enzyme.Immobilization of enzymes is a common practice, mainly in order to minimize enzyme costs on the process economics bymaking it possible to reuse the enzyme many times and also minimize the operation cost as the immobilization techniquemay be ...

Modulating Signal Generation in Aptamer‐Based CNT‐FET Biosensors by Controlling the Functionalization Route

open access: yesAdvanced Sensor Research, EarlyView.
The impact of different assembly strategies is discussed on the performance of nanoscale aptamer‐based SWCNT‐FET biosensors. By combining electrical and optical characterization, this is revealed that how aptamer conformation affects local electrostatic changes within the Debye length, leading to distinct sensor responses.
