Emerging Paediatric Uses of Dupilumab Beyond Approvals
Dupilumab, through IL‐4Rα blockade, shows promising efficacy beyond approved indications in paediatric diseases driven by T2 inflammation. Emerging evidence—mainly from small studies—supports improvements in disease severity and quality of life, highlighting its potential as a targeted, steroid‐sparing therapy while underscoring the need for ...

Tocilizumab for severe and refractory mucous membrane pemphigoid
Elevated IL‐6 levels identified in mucous membrane pemphigoid support IL‐6 blockade, with tocilizumab demonstrating clinical benefit in nine patients with severe and refractory mucous membrane pemphigoid. Abstract Background Mucous membrane pemphigoid (MMP) is a rare autoimmune blistering disease involving mucous membranes with a potentially ...

Migration of purified mouse eosinophils to IL-4 and IL-13 in the presence or absence of eotaxin-1.
(A). Eosinophil chemotaxis to IL-4 (left panel) and IL-13 (right panel) in the presence (filled bars) or absence (open bars) of 30 nM eotaxin-1 was measured.

This review describes the features of grade C molar‐incisor pattern periodontitis and discusses the role of A. actinomycetemcomitans in its pathogenesis and why molars and incisors are preferably affected. Possible future studies on this aggressive disease in primary and permanent dentition and emerging omics techniques for diagnosis and management are

TSLP and CCL11/Eotaxin-1 secretion during rhinovirus-induced asthma exacerbation.
Nasal airway protein levels of TSLP (A), CCL11/eotaxin-1 (B) in asthmatic children with PCR-confirmed rhinovirus and clinical wheezing (asthma; n = 20) vs. age-matched non-asthmatic children without clinical wheezing or rhinovirus (control; n = 20).

Eotaxin-induced expression of membrane type 1 matrix metalloproteinase mRNA in human eosinophils
Eosinophil penetration across the basement membrane (BM) is thought to be dependent on the degradation of membrane components. In this process, matrix metalloproteinases (MMP) appear to be primarily responsible for degradation of the BM.
