Homemade yeast by using tropical fruits through fermentation process [PDF]
Yeast is one type of bacteria that is used in baking industry and as the crucial parameters to determine the softness of the bread. Many tropical fruits can be used as a medium to produce yeast. The main goal of this study is to produce homemade yeast by

A New Contact Algorithm for the Total‐Lagrangian Material Point Method
ABSTRACT The Total Lagrangian Material Point Method (TLMPM) is a relatively new variant of the now popular MPM, a method to solve partial differential equations appearing in solid and fluid mechanics problems. In TLMPM, each solid has its own grid, and all calculations are carried out in a configuration of reference, often the original configuration ...

Hall-petch relationship in an Al-Mg-Sc alloy subjected to ECAP [PDF]
Effect of extensive grain refinement on mechanical properties of an Al-Mg-Sc alloy subjected to equal-channel angular pressing (ECAP) at 300°C is considered in detail.

ABSTRACT The uniformity of the flow structure of the extruded copper bars has a significant impact on the mechanical and electrical conductivity properties of the material. A finite element simulation was conducted on the continuous equal‐channel angular extrusion (C‐ECAP)—extended extrusion process of pure copper.

AN UPPER BOUND ANALYSIS OF T-SHAPED EQUAL CHANNEL ANGULAR PRESSING
T-shaped equal channel angular pressing (T-shaped ECAP) is a novel process of severe plastic deformation (SPD). The maximum effective strain per pass in the T-shaped ECAP is larger than that in the ECAP.

Prestraining the substrate influences coating formation process. Higher prestraining force leads to higher coating thickness and lower hardness. Increase in prestraining force enhances preliminary damage in hard anodic coating. Fatigue damage mechanisms change for hard anodized prestrained samples.

Thermal Stability and Mechanical Properties of 5483 Al Alloy Processed by ECAP [PDF]
Equal Channel Angular Pressing (ECAP) is one of the methods which allows to obtain ultrafine-grained and nanocrystalline metallic materials. It is well known that microstructure of materials pro-cessed by ECAP in not very stable.

Powder Metallurgy Preparation of Metastable β Ti–Cr–Ge Alloys for Medical Applications
This study develops metastable β Ti–Cr–Ge alloys using powder metallurgy for biomedical implants. The Ti–10Cr–2Ge alloy exhibits superior mechanical performance with high yield strength (>1100 MPa), low Young's modulus (<85 GPa), and excellent strain hardening behavior.

Microembossing of ultrafine grained Al: microstructural analysis and finite element modelling
Ultra fine grained (UFG) Al-1050 processed by equal channel angular pressing (ECAP) and UFG Al-Mg-Cu-Mn processed by high pressure torsion (HPT) were embossed at both room temperature and 300 °C, with the aim of producing micro-channels. The behaviour of
