Infrared thermographic image processing for flame equivalence ratio measurements
The thesis delineates a broadband infrared imaging technique to measure the flame equivalence ratio of a premixed combustor. The measurement technique can be used to provide feedback control signals for the operating point controller of a gas turbine ...

Loss of proton‐sensing TDAG8 increases tumor progression in mouse models of colon cancer
Loss of the pH‐sensing receptor TDAG8 accelerates colorectal cancer progression in mice. Animals lacking TDAG8 expression had increased tumor growth, DNA damage, and recruitment of tumor‐associated immune cells, including macrophages, neutrophils, and monocytes.

Effect of primary-zone equivalence ratio on pollutant formation
Test were conducted to determine the effect of primary-zone equivalence ratio on the formation of smoke and other gaseous pollutants in an experimental can combustor. Several fuel injection techniques were examined at primary-zone equivalence ratios from

The Effects of Equivalence Ratio on Pressure Wave Development during Knocking Combustion
A knocking combustion in a one-dimensional constant volume reactor has been simulated with a detailed chemical kinetic mechanism of n-heptane premixed gases by using the compressible Navier-Stokes equations.

Equivalent therapeutic ratio of salbutamol given by Turbuhaler®and Diskus™
Some inhalers have been claimed to give better deposition, resulting in higher efficacy. In a previous study we did not find any evidence of different potency of salbutamol given either via pMDI or Turbuhaler. The aim of the present study was to compare the efficacy and safety of salbutamol given via Diskus or Turbuhaler.

Breast cancer remains a major cause of cancer death in women, frequently developing endocrine therapy resistance. This study demonstrates that upregulated p21‐activated kinase 1 (PAK1) activity drives resistance to tamoxifen and long‐term estrogen deprivation in ER+ breast cancer models.
