Testing Equivalence to Design Polynomials.
An n-variate polynomial g of degree d is a (n,d,t) design polynomial if the degree of the gcd of every pair of monomials of g is at most t-1. The power symmetric polynomial PSym_{n,d} : = ∑_{i = 1}ⁿ x^d_i and the sum-product polynomial SP_{s,d} : = ∑_{i = 1}^{s}∏_{j = 1}^{d} x_{i,j} are instances of design polynomials for t = 1.

This study reveals that the small GTPase Rab14 is necessary for human papillomavirus (HPV) infection and plays an essential role in the transport of virions to the trans‐Golgi network (TGN). HPV in the early endosome (EE), which harbors GTP‐bound Rab14, is transported to the TGN through the switch of Rab14 from its GTP‐bound to GDP‐bound form.

Stimulus Equivalence: A Comparison of Operant and Associative Procedures
Previous studies comparing the effectiveness of the stimulus-pairing-observation and matching-to-sample procedures in facilitating the formation of equivalence relations have had conflicting findings.

Degradation mechanism of the von Willebrand factor A2 domain by nattokinase
Nattokinase, a natto‐derived protease, exhibits potent antithrombotic effects. This study demonstrates that nattokinase directly cleaves the von Willebrand factor (vWF) A2 domain in vitro. Unlike the native regulator ADAMTS13, nattokinase degrades folded vWF independently of shear stress.

Ricardian Equivalence: an Empirical Application to the Portugese Economy. [PDF]
It is the purpose of this paper to focus on the consequences of the Ricardian offset to the conduct of stabilising fiscal policies. If equivalence prevails there is no scope for effective stabilising fiscal policies.

In this paper we study the necessary and sufficient conditions for the training of conditional relations, the formation of equivalence classes and relations of "equivalence - equivalence".

PEQtest: Testing Functional Equivalence
AbstractRefactoring a program without changing the program’s functional behavior is challenging. To prevent that behavioral changes remain undetected, one may apply approaches that compare the functional behavior of original and refactored programs.

An unexpected alternative interaction site for ethyl viologen was identified in formate dehydrogenase 1 from Methylorubrum extorquens. Combined mutagenesis, kinetic analysis, and docking revealed that aromatic residues near an iron–sulfur cluster enable flavin mononucleotide‐independent electron transfer, offering a framework for engineering improved ...

Equivalence of Reading and Listening Comprehension Across Test Media
Whether an ability test delivered on either paper or computer provides the same information is an important question in applied psychometrics. Besides the validity, it is also the fairness of a measure that is at stake if the test medium affects ...
