Approximation Error Bounds via Rademacher's Complexity
Approximation properties of some connectionistic models, commonly used to construct approximation schemes for optimization problems with multivariable functions as admissible solutions, are investigated.

A remark on simultaneous inclusions of the zeros of a polynomial by Gershgorin's theorem
Elsner L. A remark on simultaneous inclusions of the zeros of a polynomial by Gershgorin's theorem. Numerische Mathematik. 1973;21(5):425-427.By using Gershgorin's theorem and the theorems on minimal Gershgorin disks a posteriori error bounds for the ...

Loss of IGF‐1R impairs DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin leading to defective end‐joining
IGF‐1R promotes radioresistance by facilitating DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin, enabling non‐homologous end‐joining (NHEJ) repair of double‐strand breaks. Inhibition or loss of IGF‐1R disrupts this recruitment to damage sites, driving compensatory reliance on microhomology‐mediated end‐joining (MMEJ) repair.

Further Bounds for the Estimation Error Variance of a Continuous Stream with Stationary Variogram
In this paper we establish an upper bound for the estimation error variance of a continuous stream with a stationary variogram V which is assumed to be of r-Hölder type (Lipschitzian) on [-d, d]

Pair‐wise comparison of the CellSearch and FETCH enrichment technologies for circulating tumor cells (CTCs) from metastatic breast, prostate, and small cell lung cancer patients shows an increased capture of CTCs using FETCH enrichment. The clinical implementation of circulating tumor cells (CTCs) as a predictive tool for therapy efficacy in the ...

In this paper multistep methods for systems of coupled second order Volterra integro-differential equations are proposed. Stability and convergence properties are studied and an error bound for the discretization error is given.

Constrained Multi-Sensor Control Using a Multi-Target MSE Bound and a δ-GLMB Filter
The existing multi-sensor control algorithms for multi-target tracking (MTT) within the random finite set (RFS) framework are all based on the distributed processing architecture, so the rule of generalized covariance intersection (GCI) has to be used to
