FEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.In a murine model of myocardial ischemia and reperfusion (MI/R), the CD36 azapeptide ligand MPE‐298 reduces cardiac injury and transiently lowers left ventricular long‐chain fatty acids (LCFAs) accumulation 3 h after reperfusion, accompanied by a decrease of oxidative stress and inflammation‐associated genes' expression in the heart and adipose tissue.

Pharmaceutical Fronts, 2022 This work aimed to explore a novel protocol for selective reduction of the nitro group on the aromatic ring while remaining the ester group unaffected. In this study, NaBH4-FeCl2 was disclosed as a key reductant in the process.

FEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.The brown marmorated stink bug, Halyomorpha halys, mainly secretes 4‐oxo‐(E)‐2‐hexenal, (E)‐2‐decenal, dodecane and tridecane, a mixture representative of that released by many heteropterans. We demonstrated that H. halys can synthesise these secretory components de novo using dietary glucose.
