Lipid Alterations in Early-Stage High-Grade Serous Ovarian Cancer

open access: yesFrontiers in Molecular Biosciences, 2022
Epithelial ovarian cancer (OC) ranks first in the number of deaths among diseases of the female reproductive organs. Identification of OC at early stages is highly beneficial for the treatment but is highly challenging due to the asymptomatic or low ...

Electroactive 3D Porous Graphene Foam Impedimetric Biosensor for Ultrasensitive Detection of MCF‐7‐Cells‐Derived Extracellular Vesicles in Human Serum

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
A label‐free impedimetric biosensor based on electroactive 3D porous graphene foam enables ultrasensitive and selective detection of CD81 protein and MCF‐7 cell‐derived extracellular vesicles in human serum. Detection limits of 0.048 fg/mL for CD81 and ∼24 EVs/mL are achieved, demonstrating a robust platform for selective, label‐free, and ...

Top-down lipidomics of low density lipoprotein reveal altered lipid profiles in advanced chronic kidney disease[S]

open access: yesJournal of Lipid Research, 2015
This study compared the molecular lipidomic profile of LDL in patients with nondiabetic advanced renal disease and no evidence of CVD to that of age-matched controls, with the hypothesis that it would reveal proatherogenic lipid alterations.

Aptamer‐Targeted PrPC Drives Colorectal Cancer Metastasis via a LYN‐STAT3 Complex and Enables Liquid Biopsy Detection

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The aptamer WHY‐3E identifies PrPC as a CRC driver. Stabilized by USP18, endocytosed PrPC forms a LYN/STAT3 complex, upregulating MSN transcription to promote metastasis. Crucially, WHY‐3E sensitively detects PrPC‐positive circulating exosomes, establishing a robust theoretical foundation for non‐invasive clinical diagnostics.

SuFEx‐Enabled Reprogramming of Flavonoids for Selective α‐Glucosidase Covalent Inhibition

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Selective inhibition of intestinal α‐glucosidase remains limited by poor enzyme specificity and off‐target metabolic effects. Here, SuFEx click chemistry is used to reprogram natural flavonoids into covalent inhibitors with enhanced α‐glucosidase selectivity and controlled reactivity. This strategy enables effective regulation of carbohydrate digestion

Age dependent accumulation of N-acyl-ethanolamine phospholipids in ischemic rat brain: a 31P NMR and enzyme activity study

open access: yesJournal of Lipid Research, 2000
N-acyl-ethanolamine phospholipids (NAPE) can be formed as a stress response during neuronal injury, and they are precursors for N-acyl-ethanolamines (NAE), some of which are endocannabinoids.

Targeting DNGR‐1 with Fangchinoline Elevates Dendritic Cell Antigen Cross‐Presentation‐Mediated Antitumor Immunity in Melanoma

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Fangchinoline is identified as a small‐molecule DNGR‐1 modulator that enhances dendritic‐cell cross‐presentation of tumor antigens. By engaging DNGR‐1 and activating Syk–Nox2 signaling, it promotes phagosomal ROS, antigen escape, MHC‐I presentation, and CD8+ T‐cell priming, thereby strengthening antitumor immunity and sensitizing tumors to PD‐1 ...
