Experimental Biology and Medicine, 1967 SummaryEthanolamine-1,2-C14 was readily metabolized by the rat, rat tissue slices, and rat tissue homogenates. Over 50% of the administered ethanolamine-1,2-C14 was incorporated into the lipid fraction and 11% was oxidized to C14O2 by the intact rat in an 8-hour period.
