Euthanasia of Cats by Australian Veterinarians: A Survey of Current Practices
We sought to document the contemporary feline euthanasia practices among Australian veterinarians and determine the factors associated with the administration of a premedication or sedation prior to euthanasia. Australian veterinarians who had euthanised

The development of hydrogel‐impregnated robust interlocking nano connector (HiRINC) aims to address stent migration by improving tissue adhesion and reducing mechanical mismatch in self‐expandable metallic stents (SEMSs). The network‐like porous layer of HiRINC enhances adhesion and energy dissipation, demonstrates through ex vivo and in vivo tests ...

CO2 laser ablation, a fast, inexpensive, and reproducible method, is used to create flexible elastomer molds with millimeter‐long cavities for the fabrication of dissolvable polymer needles. Made from PVP, these milli‐needles achieve ≈560 µm penetration into porcine skin, demonstrating their potential for effective transdermal drug delivery.

Functional Polarization of Liver Macrophages by Glyco Gold Nanoparticles
Macrophages play a critical role in several pathophysiological diseases by being involved in the activation of adaptive and innate immune responses. The repolarization of macrophages using gold nanoparticles functionalized with glycans for a more selective targeting toward a restorative phenotype leads to an amelioration of the events.

This paper examines why the law concerns itself with euthanasia. The nature of the right to life and its protection in law is explored. Such a right demands legal intervention to prohibit, or at least control, involuntary and non-voluntary euthanasia. Voluntary euthanasia is not a violation of the individual's right to life as such, so on what grounds ...

RNF112, an E3 ubiquitin ligase, is markedly reduced in bladder cancer (BLCA). It curbs BLCA cell proliferation, migration, and lipid production primarily by enhancing ubiquitin‐dependent degradation of c‐Myc. This degradation inhibits c‐Myc's role in upregulating ACLY, a crucial enzyme for lipid synthesis, highlighting RNF112's potential as a ...

USP42 is identified as a novel DUB of PPARγ in hepatocytes. USP42 mediated PPARγ deubiquitylation determines its transcriptional preference on proliferative and redox balance genes. USP42 knockdown exacerbates liver damage and delays regeneration. FGF2 is the upstream signal that initiates and activates the USP42‐PPARγ axis.
