Optimal Initialization and Starting Approach of Synchronous Condenser Integrated Power Grid
Synchronous condensers (SCs) are generally used at the receiving-end stations of ultra-high-voltage direct current (UHVDC) transmission systems due to their strong reactive power support and flexible regulation of reactive power according to the ...

Non-parametric linear time-invariant system identification by discrete wavelet transforms
We describe the use of the discrete wavelet transform (DWT) for non-parametric linear time-invariant system identification. Identification is achieved by using a test excitation to the system under test (SUT) that also acts as the analyzing function for ...

The ubiquitin ligase RNF115 is required for the clearance of damaged lysosomes
Upon lysosomal rupture, an E3 ubiquitin ligase RNF115 translocates from the cytosol to the damaged lysosomal membrane. Moreover, RNF115 depletion impairs the clearance of damaged lysosomes, identifying it as a key regulator of lysosomal quality control.

Combining PTEN protein assessment and transcriptomic profiling of prostate tumors, we uncovered a network enriched in senescence and extracellular matrix (ECM) programs associated with PTEN loss and conserved in a mouse model. We show that PTEN‐deficient cells trigger paracrine remodeling of the surrounding stroma and this information could help ...

Nanosecond infrared laser (NIRL) low‐volume sampling combined with shotgun lipidomics uncovers distinct lipidome alterations in oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (OPSCC) of the palatine tonsil. Several lipid species consistently differentiate tumor from healthy tissue, highlighting their potential as diagnostic markers.

Excitation System Output Quantities-Based Loss of Excitation Detection in Synchronous Generators
In the earliest generation of loss of excitation (LOE) protection relays, the exciter’s output voltage ( $V_{e}$ ) or output current ( $I_{e}$ ) were employed for the LOE protection of synchronous generators (SGs) by employing under-voltage or ...

Detection of composite damage by IR NDT using ultrasonic and optic excitation
The submitted paper presents experience with detection of damaged composites by means of an ultrasonic excitation system in comparison with an optic system of excitation. In case of the ultrasonic excitation system is a high-frequency signal modulated by
