Neutrophil extracellular traps inhibit osteoclastogenesis

Biochemical and Biophysical Research Communications
Neutrophil extracellular traps (NETs) released by neutrophils upon inflammation or infection, act as an innate immune defense against pathogens. NETs also influence inflammatory responses and cell differentiation in host cells. Osteoclasts, which are derived from myeloid stem cells, are critical for the bone remodeling by destroying bone.

Neutrophil extracellular traps and neutrophilic asthma

Respiratory Medicine
There are more than 260 million asthma patients worldwide. How to provide targeted long-term standardized treatment and management still confuses clinical workers and patients. Neutrophilic asthma is a special type of asthma which is difficult to diagnose clinically and often associated with severe asthma and glucocorticoid resistance.
