Transcripts enriched in codons that trigger P‐site tRNA‐mediated mRNA decay possess stable mRNA

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
PTMD codons were first described by Mendel et al. as mediators of an mRNA decay pathway dependent on the human protein CNOT3, homologous to yeast Not5. Our findings confirm that PTMD codons destabilize transcripts; however, unlike in yeast, the human pathway specifically targets and slightly destabilizes primarily stable mRNAs.

Existence of convex and non convex local solutions for fractional differential inclusions

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2009
In this paper, we establish the existence theorems for a class of fractional differential inclusion of order $n-1 < alpha leq n $. The study holds in two cases, when the set-valued function has convex and non-convex values.

On an algorithm for the problem of tracking a trajectory of a parabolic equation

open access: yesInternational Journal of Applied Mathematics and Computer Science, 2017
In this paper, we consider the problem of tracking a solution of a reference parabolic equation by a solution of another equation. A stable algorithm based on the extremal shift method is proposed for this problem.

Average Relaxations of Extremal Problems [PDF]

open access: yes
In this paper extremal problems that include averaging operation in constraints and objective are considered. The relaxation caused by a replacement of a problem without averaging with a problem that includes averaging is formally defined and ...

Classification of extremal black holes [PDF]

open access: yes
In this thesis we consider the classification problem for extremal black holes. First, we provide a classification for asymptotically flat or asymptotically Kaluza-Klein supersymmetric black holes in five-dimensional minimal supergravity with a single ...

Non-extremal D-instantons [PDF]

open access: yes, 2004
We construct the most general non-extremal deformation of the D-instanton solution with maximal rotational symmetry. The general non-supersymmetric solution carries electric charges of the SL(2,R) symmetry, which correspond to each of the three conjugacy

MagmaFlow: A desktop platform for artificial intelligence‐driven expression analysis

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
MagmaFlow is a free, no‐code platform for gene expression analysis. It generates interactive volcano plots, links genes to literature, pathways, and diseases, prioritizes candidates using millions of publications, identifies affected biological processes, builds network diagrams, and exports publication‐ready figures and reports for macOS and Windows ...

Extremal Limits and Black Hole Entropy [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
Taking the extremal limit of a non-extremal Reissner-Nordstrom black hole (by externally varying the mass or charge), the region between the inner and outer event horizons experiences an interesting fate--while this region is absent in the extremal case,

Evolution‐guided yeast complementation reveals functional differences in human PSPH variants

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Ancient genomes can help guide which human genetic variants are tested experimentally. This study applies that idea to PSPH, a gene involved in serine biosynthesis, and uses high‐throughput yeast complementation to compare variant function. The findings reveal measurable differences among selected alleles and illustrate the value of evolution‐guided ...

Inference for extremal conditional quantile models, with an application to market and birthweight risks [PDF]

open access: yes
Quantile regression is an increasingly important empirical tool in economics and other sciences for analyzing the impact of a set of regressors on the conditional distribution of an outcome. Extremal quantile regression, or quantile regression applied to
