Surface and Coatings Technology, 2013Abstract AISI F51 duplex stainless steel, with aligned ferrite and austenite stringers, was DC-plasma nitrided at 400 °C, in a 75% N 2 + 25% H 2 atmosphere. Tetrahedron, 2012Five new polyketides including two benzopyranones (1 and 2), one isochroman (3) and two anthraquinone-citrinin derivatives (4 and 5) were isolated from the sea fan-derived fungus Penicillium citrinum PSU-F51 together with thirteen known compounds. The structures were determined by spectroscopic methods.

The type and concentration of inorganic carbon and nitrogen sources were manipulated to improve cell growth and lutein productivity of Desmodesmus sp. F51. Using nitrate as nitrogen source, the better cell growth and lutein accumulation were obtained under 2.5% CO2 supply when compared to the addition of NaHCO3 or Na2CO3.
