A note on the factorization of matrices occurring in Wiener-Hopf problems
Simple expressions for the Wiener-Hopf factors of a certain matrix considered by Daniele are ...

Cytarabine is a key therapy for acute myeloid leukaemia (AML), but its efficacy is limited by the dNTPase SAMHD1, which hydrolyses its active metabolite. Screening nucleotide biosynthesis inhibitors revealed that IMPDH inhibitors selectively sensitise SAMHD1‐proficient AML cells to cytarabine.

Nonnegative factorization and the maximum edge biclique problem [PDF]
Nonnegative matrix factorization (NMF) is a data analysis technique based on the approximation of a nonnegative matrix with a product of two nonnegative factors, which allows compression and interpretation of nonnegative data. In this paper, we study the

Keratin 19 (KRT19) is overexpressed in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer with high levels of Kallikrein‐related peptidases (KLK) 4–7 and is associated with poor survival. In vivo analyses demonstrate that elevated KRT19 increases peritoneal tumour burden.

On matrices associated to prime factorization of odd integers
In this paper we introduce in section 5 integral matrices M(n) for any factorization of an odd integer n into r distinct odd primes. The matrices appear in several versions according to a parameter ρ∈[0,1], they have size 2r×2r and their rank satisfies e.

Factorization of centrosymmetric matrices

Somatic mutational landscape in von Hippel–Lindau familial hemangioblastoma
The causes of central nervous system (CNS) hemangioblastoma in Von Hippel–Lindau (vHL) disease are unclear. We used Whole Exome Sequencing (WES) on familial hemangioblastoma to investigate events that underlie tumor development. Our findings suggest that VHL loss creates a permissive environment for tumor formation, while additional alterations ...

OCMA: Fast, Memory-Efficient Factorization of Prohibitively Large Relationship Matrices
Matrices representing genetic relatedness among individuals (i.e., Genomic Relationship Matrices, GRMs) play a central role in genetic analysis. The eigen-decomposition of GRMs (or its alternative that generates fewer top singular values using genotype ...

Vector-exponential time-series modeling for polynomial J-spectral factorization
An iterative algorithm to perform the J-spectral factorization of a para-Hermitian matrix is presented. The algorithm proceeds by computing a special kernel representation of an interpolant for a sequence of points and associated directions determined ...
