Mechanical Properties of Post-Filling Coarse Aggregate Concrete under Biaxial Tension–Compression
Post-filling coarse aggregate concrete (PFCC) is a new type of concrete that achieves energy-saving and emission-reduction goals through optimizing material proportions.

Semi-parametric estimation of the hazard function in a model with covariate measurement error [PDF]
We consider a model where the failure hazard function, conditional on a covariate $Z$ is given by $R(t,\theta^0|Z)=\eta\_{\gamma^0}(t)f\_{\beta^0}(Z)$, with $\theta^0=(\beta^0,\gamma^0)^\top\in \mathbb{R}^{m+p}$.

Cell wall target fragment discovery using a low‐cost, minimal fragment library
LoCoFrag100 is a fragment library made up of 100 different compounds. Similarity between the fragments is minimized and 10 different fragments are mixed into a single cocktail, which is soaked to protein crystals. These crystals are analysed by X‐ray crystallography, revealing the binding modes of the bound fragment ligands.

Fracture analysis of surface and through cracks in cylindrical pressure vessels [PDF]
A previously developed fracture criterion was applied to fracture data for surface- and through-cracked cylindrical pressure vessels to see how well the criterion can correlate fracture data.

Failure Inference and Optimization for Step Stress Model Based on Bivariate Wiener Model [PDF]
In this paper, we consider the situation under a life test, in which the failure time of the test units are not related deterministically to an observable stochastic time varying covariate.

Equivalent strain failure criterion for multiaxially loaded incompressible hyperelastic elastomers
An analysis of distortional, i.e. constant volume, bulk material failure of incompressible hyperelastic elastomers in multiaxial loading conditions is presented. The present work describes deformation-based failure surfaces in terms of strain and stretch

We identified a systemic, progressive loss of protein S‐glutathionylation—detected by nonreducing western blotting—alongside dysregulation of glutathione‐cycle enzymes in both neuronal and peripheral tissues of Taiwanese SMA mice. These alterations were partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotide therapy, revealing persistent redox imbalance as ...

Evaluation of failure criterion for graphite/epoxy fabric laminates [PDF]
The development and application of the tensor polynomial failure criterion for composite laminate analysis is described. Emphasis is given to the fabrication and testing of Narmco Rigidite 5208-WT300, a plain weave fabric of Thornel 300 Graphite fibers ...

Depression, School Performance, and the Veridicality of Perceived Grades and Causal Attributions [PDF]
An external criterion was assessed to test whether depressives have distorted perceptions of covariation information and whether their attributions are consistent with this information.

Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.
