Audit Laporan Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (Fmea) Produk Ga Rear Motor Wiper Berdasarkan Objektif Kualitas Pada PT. Xyz [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
PT XYZ using FMEA report GA Rear Wiper which is adopted from PT XYZ Jepang and they has not made the adjustment to the condition in the production floor. This cause will create the failure process that can be evaluated from the percentage of defect.

Output power limitations and improvements in passively mode locked GaAs/AlGaAs quantum well lasers [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
We report a novel approach for increasing the output power in passively mode locked semiconductor lasers. Our approach uses epitaxial structures with an optical trap in the bottom cladding that enlarges the vertical mode size to scale the pulse ...

Structural biology of ferritin nanocages

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Ferritin is a conserved iron‐storage protein that sequesters iron as a ferric mineral core within a nanocage, protecting cells from oxidative damage and maintaining iron homeostasis. This review discusses ferritin biology, structure, and function, and highlights recent cryo‐EM studies revealing mechanisms of ferritinophagy, cellular iron uptake, and ...

Organ‐specific redox imbalances in spinal muscular atrophy mice are partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotides

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We identified a systemic, progressive loss of protein S‐glutathionylation—detected by nonreducing western blotting—alongside dysregulation of glutathione‐cycle enzymes in both neuronal and peripheral tissues of Taiwanese SMA mice. These alterations were partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotide therapy, revealing persistent redox imbalance as ...

Comparative study of the effects of different nanomaterials on the failure process of saturated concrete in an underground reservoir of a coal mine

open access: yesEnergy Exploration & Exploitation, 2022
The macroscopic failure of concrete used to form an artificial dam in an underground coal mine reservoir is the final manifestation of crack propagation and penetration: the mode of crack propagation is key to the safety evaluation of concrete structures.

Mechanisms of IgE‐mediated food allergy and the role of allergen‐specific B cells

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Food allergy arises when allergen‐specific B cells preferentially produce immunoglobulin E (IgE) antibodies against harmless foods. This article explains the mechanisms driving IgE‐mediated reactions, highlights the central role of these B cells, and discusses how natural tolerance (NT) and oral immunotherapy (OIT) can reshape allergic immune responses.

Fatigue of friction stir welded 2024-T351 aluminium alloy

open access: yes, 2002
Fatigue failure characteristics of friction stir welds in 13mm gauge 2024-T351 plate have been assessed. Failure occurred from either the weld region (nugget/flow arm) or from the material immediately surrounding the weld.

A new approach for evaluation of risk priorities of failure modes in FMEA [PDF]

open access: yes, 2001
This paper presents a method for carrying out the calculus of the risk priority of failures in Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA). The novelty of the method consists of new management of data provided by the design team, normally given on ...

Failure Mode and Effects Analysis

open access: yesJournal of Patient Safety, 2010
To empirically compare 2 different commonly used failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) scoring procedures with respect to their resultant failure mode scores and prioritization: a mathematical procedure, where scores are assigned independently by FMEA team members and averaged, and a consensus procedure, where scores are agreed on by the FMEA team ...

The planar cell polarity protein Vangl2 interacts with the PDZ‐domains of Scribble but not with a unique PDZ‐like domain in Inturned

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Structural and biochemical characterisations show that the planar cell polarity (PCP) protein Inturned harbours a unique PDZ‐like domain that does not bind canonical PDZ‐binding motifs (PBMs) like that of another PCP protein Vangl2. In contrast, the apical‐basal polarity protein Scribble contains four PDZ domains that bind Vangl2, but one PDZ domain ...
