MiR‐513a promotes human erythroid differentiation by modulating c‐Jun

During early human erythropoiesis, miR‐513a promoted erythroid differentiation in primary human CD34+ hematopoietic stem‐progenitor cells and human TF‐1 erythroleukemic cells by indirectly decreasing c‐Jun and phospho‐c‐Jun expression, which are associated with increased GATA1 expression.

Evolutionarily divergent DUF4465 domains have a common vitamin B12‐binding function

THE DETERMINANTS OF FAMILY WORK CONFLICTS IN SMALL AND MEDIUM-SIZED ENTREPRISES

This paper aims to analyze the determinants factors of the conflict between work and family life of women in Cameroonian enterprises. We use models to explain conflict situations, the main antecedents of which are both social and family-based.  The survey was conducted among 408 women in companies located in several regions of the country.

Large‐scale bidirectional arrayed genetic screens identify OXR1 and EMC4 as modifiers of αSynuclein aggregation

Activation of the mitochondrial protein OXR1 increases pSyn129 αSynuclein aggregation by lowering ATP levels and altering mitochondrial membrane potential, particularly in response to MSA‐derived fibrils. In contrast, ablation of the ER protein EMC4 enhances autophagic flux and lysosomal clearance, broadly reducing α‐synuclein aggregates.

YIPFα1A expression is regulated by multilayered molecular mechanisms

YIPFα1A, a five‐pass Golgi protein, is regulated at multiple layers. (1) Rare‐codon enrichment drives translation‐coupled mRNA decay. (2) A proximal 3′‐UTR element stabilizes mRNA. (3) A distal 3′‐UTR element included by alternate poly(A) site usage represses translation, which can be overridden by the proximal 3′‐UTR element.
